BRZ on BBS CH-R, Michelin Supersports, lowered on RCE Yellows.

Finally got to install the BBS CH-R, silver, 18x8 +38 offset with Michelin Pilot Supersports. 245/35-18. We also installed our Racecomp Yellow springs and are playing with and testing some rear sway combos and hypothetical front sway sizes. At the same time we installed Whiteline Com-C front mounts which are supposed to add half a degree of caster and front camber. Will verify shortly to the actual gain on the BRZ.

This is such a HUGE improvement over the stock tires. The amount of grip is insane. Haven't had tome to really spend in car. Left work and took wife to dinner for birthday.

At 44years of age I stuck with silver. These come in Titanium color and black. Overall wheel weight is UP by 1/4 lb per wheel measured. I will def be doing a super light weight setup that is 5-6 lbs less per wheel but I really like this wheel.

Myles

Those wheels look great. For some reason though, the spoiler really put me off. But overall i think it looks so wonderful, the FRS/BRZ is very good looking to begin with.

245/35-18 will be 2-3mm taller. Practically no difference.

Nice work it looks good. Drop height / rates info on springs?

I think the front could use a further 10-15mm drop, hopefully it settles a bit.

Any way we could get a photo looking down the side of the car from the front? I would like to see if there is any wheel/tire poking out of the fender.

Thanks for the pics!

I love how all you need is a rim and a drop to make the limited model BRZ look perfect. I wouldn't change a thing on the outside after this. Well maybe try to find the JDM exhaust tips.

it was like 24.5 vs 24.4. (ROUGH NUMBERS). The 235/40-18 weighed more and was .5 taller.

Hrm I have some 245/40/18 wheels/tires @ 18x8 +45 offset I'm going to try when we get our BRZ. The speedo will be off a little bit but the tires are way better than the Prius tires. Hopefully they work nicely.

Car looks great btw Myles. A set of springs from you guys + sways will be the first items on the list. Already have wheels/tires obviously.

I look forward to seeing where your car goes in development!

Thanks ! I will tell you that the 245/40-18 is a VERY tall tire compared to the 35 version. The OEM tire from the STI btw is on average MUCH taller than other 245/40-18's. Keep that in mind.

Myles
