I guess, but I wouldn't put that thing on any stock FA engine with a clear conscience, let alone my own car.

Maybe the engineers planned on this being a cult car and actually gave us a bulletproof bottom end at the very least. It'd be a good car to make a legend out of...

No way they took that thing over to nurburg just to park hard and take some pictures on the country roads. |

Amazing car! I would buy one in a heartbeat!
But if it was priced over $35k...no freaking way.

The fact it has a full interior and the FI bits look so OEM (even using OEM airbox) makes me think this is a prototype for a production kit or "super sport" model (spiritual successor to the Supra?).
It could be stock internals -- there's more leeway with DI to quench potential det. They might also be pushing the upper limits to see what it can withstand in the enduro race and based on that data, could scale back the power too. We'll have to wait and see... If they can sort this out on stock internals, I'm thinking mid to upper 30's because then it would truly be a 370Z competitor in terms of looks, power, and pricing. Fully loaded, low 40's. And, if they offer this, it will be my next car. |

What GRMN stands for
Gazoo
Racing Morizo = pseudonym for Akido Toyoda (CEO of Toyota and a real car nut who drives the LFA, GT-86 and Lexus IS 250 in races in Europe and Japan) Naruse = Hiromu Naruse ( former chief test & development engineer for Toyota sports cars - MR2, MR2 Spyder, Celica, Supra, Altezza RS200/IS200, and Toyota 86/Scion FR-S. Naruse died in 2010 while testing the Nurburging Edition LFA in Germnay, near the Nurburgring track) |

Nah, velocity is right as far as the original meaning of GRMN. They might have changed it to "Meister of Nur" at some point though.

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...0914197&type=1 I honestly have no idea but it does say on their facebook page under the MAY 17th post about this car: *GRMN:GAZOO Racing tuned by Master of Nürburgring so i'm guessing it did change.

Man this is sweet! I just don't believe we will get this in the US as anything other than a kit for the FR-S. I also don't see the kit selling for less than $10k. That thing looks good though! #wallpaper

Yeah seems like it. Looked very similar to the new style 2012 IS F wheels (also made by BBS).
Cool. Jeff

To the above. Comptech blower with charge cooler - and a lot of tuning. The smaller Rotrex blowers would be better. Less peak BHP, but a lot better low down power. |
