Yes, but it's way at the bottom so it helps with lowering the center of gravity.

Our Test mule was 100% stock. Only thing we added was a bung for our wideband. Once all the testing was done we added a Borla cat-back and all cosmetic modifications. Stock thermostat is also used. No need to replace it.

A couple of questions: I've noticed a couple of threads about broken supercharger belts (on other brands). are you stranded if that happens or can you drive/'limp' home?
is replacing the belt on the e-force a relatively simple matter that can be done at the roadside should a belt break? i'm assuming it's the same as replacing the stock serpentine belt - just need a wrench to pull on the belt tensioner (and any other associated tools). i was just wondering whether it'd be prudent to carry a spare belt in the trunk and tools 'just in case'.

Assuming the engine isn't blazing hot, the belt replacement should be super quick. I can show you how to do it; the only tool you need is a ratchet and 14mm socket, or a 14mm wrench.

it actually looks like access to the tensioner is better than OEM, as the sound tube and resonator aren't there to get in the way of the ratchet. LOL - i'd bring a long a pair of gloves in the trunk just in case as well.
