You kind of fit the 7% because you said that you are a loyal Toyota sports car lover.

I always thought Initial D was to guys as Sailor Moon was to girls; almost exclusive to the sex with few exceptions. And no, I never liked Sailor Moon.

Initial D is a pretty cheesy show actually but it does capture the excitement and character of Japanese sports cars pretty well I think.

I really liked Kyoko from the 4th Stage. It was so cute how she loved her car and always tried to support Ryosuke (who had the same car).

I love when she starts feeling up his car and then realizes he's in it.

That's not Ryosuke's car... Ryosuyke drives the FC...

Shuichi Shigeno can paint amazing shots of cars, and really had a knack for capturing Japanese fashion in his art. But good god damn his faces were horrible in comparison. I couldn't stand Initial D the show, but liked the comics.

I gotta disagree: Itsuki and Iketani at least got some dates throughout the series, but as for some of the commenters on here? Well... LOL.

I hate convertibles... I don't feel safe in them. I also hate sunroofs, but for no particular reason.

Just bought an FR-S this past Saturday. AT, though, because it's been almost 14 years since I learned to drive stick and haven't practiced since. I like being able to nibble and drive, and am also surrounded by OC/LA traffic.

Apologies in advance--there will be more where this came from:

Probably not. People I've had stop me to look at my car: 8 dudes, 1 sixty-five-year-old woman. Cute young women? 0.

...and there's the truth.

Only in Japanese cartoons do women swoon over men's cars.

LOL - things like this are funny to me. Ok you may be like 80% right...lol...but there ARE women out there who do appreciate a good build, and WILL stand side by side with a boyfriend or guyfriend to help drop an engine in over the weekend. BEEN THERE DONE THAT. Just sayin' because I am a 24-year old blonde who doesn't mind getting dirty and working on a car. I actually went to school to BECOME a mechanic but realized I wanted to better utilize my creative skills. People are shocked when I tell them I use to go to school for that. Their faces are priceless. Anyway, now I am a graphic designer/marketing manager (for a aftermarket performance auto parts company) and design in car magazines that I know you all pick up and read....I also own my own dirt bike and use to ride quads and plan to buy another one soon. I am not going to go and rant on about myself but I'm just letting you know that you can be a beautiful woman and appreciate racing, cars, engines, changing your own oil, drifting, getting muddy, lifted trucks, superchargers, turbos, a nice paint job....etc. Sorry you all just don't know someone who fits this category Or maybe you do..haha.

As for the ladies who have already put the down payment on the FR-S or the ones who are already driving theirs - AWESOME! You guys rock and I am glad to see some female activity on here. You're basically my motivation to get the ball rolling and try even harder to pay off my bills to get my FR-S. I'm jealous of all of you lol. I hope everything goes well and your get mad respect for becoming a part of the community

Guys, I know it's pretty easy to just assume most girls aren't auto friendly but next time you see a sexy woman at a car event or whatever, just remember, you never know her hobbies, capabilities, interests (when it comes to cars)...unless you take the time to get to know her. She could know more then you, and rotate a tire better then you. Heck - I've meet a few men who don't even know how to change their oil....it is what it is.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Either way, we all love and appreciate the same car, so rock on!

Thank you! I'm totally loving this thread. Good to know there are other ladies present. Especially ones that are not only into cars, but marketing and designing as well. Getting this BRZ has alot of meaning and reason to me, plus this forum has been a helpful/entertaining community for awhile. We're going to get along just fine

P.S. Can you make that OPI in some WRB?!?!

That is a great marketing idea! Enjoyed your creativity very much! Please add WRB color for BRZ community

My dad got a potential customer for an FR-S today. Lady in her 60's, for an Argento MT. Offered full price and in cash. The car is just getting leather seats installed. So nice to hear!
