Thanks!

One of local FR-S/BRZ fan told me the same thing. When she buys it (She's thinking of going buy BRZ next yr), she gonna go for AT. Yeah, this car's AT is a lot of fun! I had a blast driving both AT & MT. I haven't driven AT MR-S, but MT MR-S sure was fun driving!

If Ford made diesel V engine Mustang, that's gonna be hella fun to drive! I'm no Mustang fan, but think about all the crap load of TQ!!!

I saw a white FR-S on the road for the first time yesterday. I got really excited, caught up to get a better view, looked over, and my jaw dropped. It was a femi driving, and I gotta say..that's probably one of the most attractive things I've ever seen. I guess it didn't hurt that she was pretty attractive too.

Anyway, I'm test driving the same car on monday but I explained to the dad that the car as not suppose to be fast in a straight line, it was more of a handling car but they still decided to get something faster.
Why would you want something faster for your 18 year old daughter? Sorry, that just seems weird, I'm not buying any son or daughter of mine something fast (or brand new for that matter)...let them work for it, like me. But in reference to girls and the FR-S...what's wrong with the passenger seat??? haha, but seriously my fiance is very excited for me to get mine, and apart from her already having a newish car, I would be very happy if I win her over on MT, RWD, lightweight, and small.

Yeah, that's pretty stupid wanting a high powered rear wheel drive car for an 18 year old girl. I mean, they have stability control now but still, why would someone like that need more power than an FR-S? Whatever...

Good try though. They aren't on these types of sites because most women only care that their car is pretty and could care less about the details.

I plan to buy within a year or two, after I pay off my Scion tC. I am just waiting for the best timing on my financial schedule to purchase the FR-S. What can I say - I like to shop and pay off other bills (college) before I just get stuck in a loan once more.

Alright, so all your girls.....do you own one yet? Plan to? Can you drive stick? lol...and guys - what do you think about females owning/driving one of these cars? Too much horsepower? HA- not enough for me...but that's a whole other topic. Let's just say my left leg has more muscle then the other.

I want the manual whiteout FR-S. At first I preferredthe Raven but I think white is just more classy. Plus - it will match my other vehicle. I don't really plan to take it on the track or anything, just drive to work, events, other places and have fun living my life (while looking good in my new FR-S).

I own one, in manual, and I am a female trust me, you'd be surprised that there's actually girls out there who are interested in cars and are not afraid of getting dirty changing their own engine oil!

I would never buy this car for any 18 year old (no matter the gender). Lots of Subaru and Toyota models I would consider, but not a low to the ground RWD sports car. I say this as someone who's first car was a RWD sports car....

I wouldn't expect many girls to be on a car website. A Mary Kay or Lia Sophia forum, sure. But many girls don't care enough about a car to join a forum.

Could be that there aren't a lot of girls on here because... well, look at some of the responses to this thread. Can't speak for the ladies, but personally I try to avoid any place where I'm considered that much of an oddity.

(As for women drivers in general, my last serious girlfriend was a better performance driver than 90% of the guys I know. Drove a manual transmission JCW Mini, that she tinkered on and upgraded herself. Drove that car like she stole it, everywhere she went.)

Nice to see some of the ladies representing. I'm the "other" M in "M&M" - AND the First 86er AND a female. My hubby's been doing most of the posting because I'm too busy driving my new FR-S. Glad to be in good company of other women who appreciate the awesomeness that is this car. I got obsessed with Initial D about a year ago, then heard about the mythical "Toyobaru" in development, and about busted a gasket when I got moved off the wait list to be a First 86er. My new Asphalt baby is my pride and joy! And FYI it's an AT because I like paddles!

Lady right here and recently signed up. I'm waiting for my Manuel FRS still (saving up some backup money before going out on the hunt for one).

Right now I'm just learning all I can about the car since this a fairly new hobby for me.
