I like that men are getting fatter too. It means I'm more attractive to what's left of the skinny girl market.

It's not the size of your waistline, it's the confidence in your swagger that matters. Also, a large bank account helps.

looks matter to women the same way personality matters to men and to varying degrees and levels of both. but they're pretty interchangeable between the genders.

Ive been a 33 waist for years and my wife bought me 34 pants on my bday. I returned them as I'd rather suffer with tight waist pants than grow comfortable going a size up. I usually lose weight in cooler weather when I prefer running and walking.
Agree most women prefer personality and resourcefulness over purely looks. That is unless you are ugly. Also most women have a minimum height, usually a few inches taller than themselves. My first wife was an inch taller than me.

I looked like a crackhead and i was not healthy by any means. Now at around 190 i could still afford to lose some fat and build muscle but weight wise my body feels the best around 180-195.

Your example of comparing a giving an alcoholic a beer does not work with a woman putting on a large size shirt. Now, if she had grabbed a burger and fries in protest then that would have been different.
the BMI scale is quite outdated and really a body fat test is probably the best test to see how "fat" you truly are. and where i want to get my lean body mass would put me in obese ranges for the BMI scale.

How about this for a change?

Quit eating a full week's worth of carbs at EVERY SITTING!

I recently lost 35 lbs in 4 weeks by removing processed sugars from my diet entirely.
NO EXERCISE CHANGE (I dont exercise at all really, but can still run up 6 flights of stairs two at a time).

If you look at the ingredients of nearly ALL pre-packaged foods you will find that is over 50% carbs. Fast food is even worse.

I know a guy that drinks TWO 2-liter bottle of Pepsi every single day at work.
Thats 1700 calories per day in pure sugar. And YES he is a fat ass.

I get sick of hearing the people who say "I just cannot lose weight!"
WAAAA - I bet if you quit fuc|<ing EATING you would lose weight.....

And the BS about dieting "It is really unhealthy" is exactly THAT - BS!
Does anyone honestly think that if the average person fasted on water alone that they would drop dead in just a couple of days????

oh man can i ever relate to this. I'm pretty much relegated to wearing carhart pants now. all other jeans feel like skinny jeans to me, i can barely get my legs into them and looks beyond ridiculous walking around.

but i love squatting heavy shit so its so worth not being able to buy jeans.

i agree 100X, there's to much processed crap and sugar in everything. People need to stick to eating real natural food and not some shit out of a can.

I used to buy 36" waist jeans just so I could get them past my ass to button. when on I can fit my fist between myself and the waist band. I to like to squat.

there's a site for people with legs to buy jeans. I mean to say the legs are cut wide and loose leaving the waist smaller but the name escapes me atm.

People are so misinformed about what is good for them. There is so much bad information out there. I see tons of people at work who eat 'diet' foods, drink diet coke constantly, and take the steps once a week, and complain that they are having trouble losing weight.

I lost most of my weight by slowling decreasing the processed stuff in my diet, and AVOIDING low fat diet foods (usually just fat replaced with sugar). People still seem to believe the 80's and 90's notion of dietary fat = fat on you. This is really not usually the case unless you are eating tons of saturated fat like steak and burgers all the time.

all that extra sugar just tells your body to store the fat that's coming in because it doesn't need it due to all the sugar. then you crash on energy because the sugar is gone so you get more sugar. it's a vicious cycle.

it all starts when we're kids. form good habits then and adulthood will be much easier.
