We thank you for coming by Headquarter Scion and Seeing us about the FR-S. These vehicles as you know are limited. All dealerships were originally informed that we would be receiving 1 a month from the manufacturer, however as you know we are getting a few more here than originally anticipated. As of now the current inventory anticipation is the 3 automatics tomorrow. Beyond that and the current inventory on the lot we dont see any available inventory until a minimum of 6 weeks out. These vehicles do come from Japan so we would expect a minimum of 6 weeks before we will recieve any additional units in manual or automatic.

That said we thank you for coming to visit us and you can always request a unit without the added options on it as you did and we offered to sell you the unit without the options on it as well. We did add the equipment on the original white one as a display vehicle when the original purchaser was over seas and defaulted. While the details can't be discussed we did offer you to sell the vehicle less the options.

If you did not find what you are looking for, or were unable to get an FR-S I would encourage you to come back and see us. Please keep in mind that once current inventory is sold we do not have an ETA on any future units here or anywhere else in Florida.

Having said all of the above we thank all of the people who came to see us, and those that came back to see us and are allowing us the opportunity to earn your business. We will continue to work hard to earn your business and show why we are the best in customer satisfaction.
Is it possible to finally see one on the ground? I rather see it on the ground to really appreciate it's size

lol is this Alberto (internet sales rep at HQ Toyota)? Because the only one that knows i placed a order is alberto because he called me a hour before you posted and I told him I already placed a order. Then floridaguy must be Tony (random guy sitting behind the counter next to the manager) then.

Btw this car was never offered to me without the dealer installed options. This car was offered to me for $410 a month with out me giving a thing down and I said lets work it. When it came time to signing I asked why does the paper say im giving cash? Salesmen said I had agreed to pay taxes up front after I said im not giving anything down. Also the car was priced at high $26ish before tax/title/dealer fee.

Also the car has 81 miles on it. If those miles are from the same test drive you gave me last night in ht back lot then there has been ALOT of test drives.

This doesnt add up to your original statement. You stated that the car was priced at MSRP + 4k in addons. That would put it north of 29k.

Chedder: I'm niether Alberto nor Tony. However, as I said before you can ask for a model without options. As everyone knows this model has limited availability as I stated earlier. We have spoken with various intrested customers of which some do want the added equipment and some don't. Since it is a limited option we have chosen to make a few models available with the options for customers who are interested in these features. That's not to say that you are required or being forced to buy with those options. You can purchase the vehicle as it is displayed if available or if you so choose you may wish to put a deposit and we will advise on the next unit of which we will not add those features.

Yes. I do have it on the ground in manual transmission and as of tomorrow the automatic models we're getting will arrive. To the best of my knowledge we are getting 3 of which 1 is already sold deposit.

If you would like to come see us on the FR-S ask for our Internet department and refrence this post to the Internet Director .

Yesterday was Memorial weekend and they were willing to work with me on the price. Thier final price was left at MSRP +$1.6K around there. The sticker is MSRP +$4K in dealer installed options. I counter offered with MSRP +$500 for the dealer options. I didnt want them for free. Thats about what a dealer could charge for the things they did.

The manager told me he couldnt do that and that was that.

HQ Scion: I appreciate the mature responses you have made to this thread. If you know who Floridaguy is you may want to ask him to tone it down as he was making your company look worse than the OP was.

Yes the White model Manual is still in the showroom and today we received a Red and silver FR-S automatic and we still have the White Manual. If any vehicle you see on the ramp that you want to have brought down we can always do that for our customers. Just ask us and we will be happy to take it down.

Chedder: I do respect your decision to wait 60 days to buy the FR-S. The only thing I want to mention is that at this time I dont see any FR-S models being available in 60 days. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and that Scion will make more available in that time, however nothing shows at sea that would indicate this possibility. That's not to say that this won't change in 60 days and maybe by then or sooner we have further information on coming models. As of this posting no vehicles are at sea and no expected ETA for any further FR-S models after these are sold. My experience has been that with no listings at sea we will be waiting a mimimum of 6-8 weeks depending on when they leave the port in Japan. In other words, It's unknown at this time when the next FR-S models will arrive anywhere in our region.

I have heard of some packaging that may become available later this year, however its unclear on the details of what will be included or part of that package. I believe thats what you might be refrencing.

Thanks. I was in a hurry and really did not step in to ask about the cars. It was the black one and it looks gorgeous.

Agreed not bad at all considering we originally were told we would be getting only one per month. Obviously we have more than one, but moving forward it's unclear on what to expect of future inventory. Also to mention that we have more FR-S models than most other dealers. I'm not sure about what criteria scion is using to decide which dealers will get what inventory.

I invite you to come take a look. We did get the red and silver A/T as scheduled. Schroeder69 did come see us on the Black A/T the day it arrived.
