Watch Mobile Suite Gundam: The 08th MS Team!
Wasn't the original Mobile Suit Gundam on Toonami? And are you saying that the original series was a false representation of Gundam, or are you referring to Wing?

That was definitely my favorite but you should give G Gundam and 8th MS Team a try. Not so sure on the newer ones though =/

Anything good this season that I can add to my "to-watch" list?

I'm finishing up Non Non Biyori s1 and waiting until s2 finishes to binge watch.

I thought the only Gundams on Toonami were Gundam Wing and 0083. Is that not the Toonami intro for 0083?

They also had G Gundam and 8th MS I believe. That intro was for the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

Gundam Wing and G Gundam are both trash. UC Timeline is hands down the best. 00 wasn't bad either.

All SAO is worth watching. Besides Sinon > Asuna all day.

Yes?.....Maybe?...... I dunno, I watched it and it had some questionable storylines throughout but it kept me entertained. Definitely not as good as the 1st season though.

I just enjoyed it because guns > swords.

I think they have sentimental value to me at this point but I have no idea what the hell either's story lines were. All I remember was that Epyon and Tall Geese were the shit, and Burning Finger.

Just got past the Death Gun arc and read some synopses for the coming episodes. Your description is spot on lol.

IF ONLY HE WOULD USE GUNS DAMMIT. It's all good though, would just go watch Cowboy Bebop or Trigun if I needed some gunslangin' action.

Speaking of SAO, still have to finish the few episodes of season 2 (Asuna's arc). Too damn lazy and lost interest.

Getting through Season 2 is a bit rough at times. Season 3 was more interesting, IMO, but no where near as good as season 1.

I think what went wrong with SAO was the entire structure of the show changed. It went from season 1 where they did individual story arcs each episode that were incredibly heart-wrenching or interesting or fun. Then season 2 they dropped that entirely and made it a single season story arc with a ton of filler. It was no longer an interesting setting with interesting stories. It was a minorly interesting setting with a story that would have been interesting for 2 episodes.

I started to realize what had turned the show bad after a few of the in between episodes they did where they went on quests as a group and magically, the show was good again for that episode or two!
