Question Not wavy CS style side skirts?

Hey guys, I'm planning on buying a set of CS style side skirts for my BRZ and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good ones that do not look wavy after installation?

I've got a few options:
- Bayson R (Polyurethane)
- ForceWerkz from JonMotoring (Polyurethane)
- HT Autos (Polyurethane)
- Any сarbon ones from eBay

I looked through all the related topics here and see that some people are complaining about Bayson R ones. It's a good option for me as I'm quite happy with their front lip, but I'm concerned about the quality. Should I go for something like HT Autos or even carbon ones?

i got a front lip from bayson r after reading so many good reviews. when i got it in it was warped really bad and one side stuck out of bumper farther than the other side. i sent emails to bayson with no responce, thank got it was just a waist of 70.00. I would not recomend there products to anyone, ever. good luck. just spend the extra money and get the real deal. i ended up buying a greddy lip the fit was absolutley perfect.

My Bayson front lip was junk, I sent it back. But my Bayson side skirts have been the best ever.

With the CS side skirt, I think you want to mount a piece of aluminum along the side skirt where it attaches to the car. After you tighten it down the aluminum will keep the side skirt from getting wavy. I read that on here some place....

all those polyurethane CS-style sideskirts probably come from the same manufacturer in china. its a hit or miss with the wavy-ness. i have a set and my driver side is straight but my psgr side is slightly curved. i wanted to get the carbonfiber ones since those will almost always be straight since theyre stiffer and not flexible like the polyurethane, but then id crack it eventually going out of my driveway. my sideskirts right now scrape everytime i go in/out of my complex, but at least it flexes a lil.

Not as cheap, but you can consider the fiberglass/frp version.

Yeah that's what I think as well, they all should be pretty much the same. I've heard that HT Autos ones (UK made) are less wavy. Can anyone comment on this?

They get just as wavy. Add more screws in between the screw holes they already have pre drilled and it's good to go

I don't have CS skirts, but why could you not just place 3M tape across the bottom so it holds, then just drill where the pre-cut holes are through the 3M tape?

The tape should prevent waviness, no?

This. Used to do it back in my Civic days when installing lexan windows. A strip of aluminum will smooth it out and keep the waves from forming.

Where would you get the aluminum? I have not seen any place locally, that would sell flat aluminum strips unless you get the aluminum from home depot that is meant to go on drywall and cut it.

Home Depot if you need it in a pinch, otherwise check McMaster.
