what did you order? Same dealership... swp limited manual! I hope we get our cars this weekend! I called SOA today and they didn't have any updates just the 5/29 eta...

I ordered a WB limited MT. It will be nice to see different colors next to each other. I suspect they will do their best to get the sales for May.
They told be they had 7 coming in on 5/29

Nice. I'll be at the blox OH as well in my FRS. My car is gonna be at a booth though. I'm currently planning some mods as well. Suspension and wheels to start, not sure I'll have them before the show or not. My car is currently on a boat still. Should be here any day now.

Wen you guys get your cars from Stevens Creek Subaru I'll be curious to see what your interactions are like. The dealer I talked to there when they had the silver demo car was a total ass.

Also I've heard great things about Capitol Subaru. I wish Capitol Scion was as good. I stopped by in march to place a deposit and the dude never called me back. He didn't even want to help me. I ended up going elsewhere.

I just picked up my BRZ from Stevens Creek (ETA was 5/29).
these are my first impressions.(pictures to follow)
Love the seating position.
Love the visibility
Love the MT and how it slips into gear
Steering wheel feel is great, but slightly thicker wheels would have been perfect
Everyone talks about the engine sound, but it is not there. It sound decent, but there is no note
Love the WR blue. I was getting nerveous about my choice, but now I am sure it is the right color for me
There is no feeling driving it in a stright line, but in HWY 9 it came alive.
Most importantly, I put two car seats it the back and they fit just fine. My 5 and 7 year old were begging for more leg room. It is okay for around town, but long trips even kids will not be able to stand it.
It is going to be parked in the garage for a week until I get back from my trip. I will write more then.
No regerets so far

So, looks like I won't be going to Washington after all. Just got done filling out paperwork with Carlsen Subaru. If all goes well, I'll be taking delivery of their SSM Limited 6MT in about a week or so. Larry Fung emailed me yesterday to let me know the car was available and at the dealership, and asked if I was interested. Showed up first thing this morning, got everything sorted out, and assuming the financing goes through (no-one around to approve on a Sunday), I'll be all set!

Once I have the keys in hand, my DGM Premium 6MT preorder at Stevens Creek will be available if anyone is interested. :P

Is yours coming on 6/4?

What made you switch from the other car?

It's already at the dealership, I checked it out in person this morning. It's the first BRZ they've officially sold. I switched mainly because at both of the other dealerships I had put my name in with, neither of them had an ETA anytime soon.

My order at Stevens Creek is something like 26/35, and the order I took over up at Puyallup Subaru is still waitlisted, even though it's #4. They haven't even ordered the car yet, they're waiting on the next allocation to their dealership.

I'd rather not wait months potentially when I can have the car in a week. (It's only taking that long because they're putting LoJack in and doing a full PermaPlate treatment.)

Cool!

It must have been the first car that arrived, and the person backed out.

My DGM gets there on 6/4! Also working with Larry.

I saw a couple of DGM Premiums in the back with the SSM Limited, might one of those be yours, or did you go Limited as well?

They said they received 4 on 5/25 (they just couldn't get a hold of me!)
They have already delivered 3 including mine, but the fourth person did not qualify for loan.
It is sitting in their show room (WR limted, I am just not sure if it is MT or AT).
It is up for sale. They have a $3k markup on it, but I think they will let it go at MSRP. That is what I paid for.

BTW, I must report that my experiance in buying my BRZ from Stevens creek subary was excellent. They did everything they said they would do and there was no surprises or drama. I hope everyone ends up with the same experiance.

First off, HUGE congrats, guys! Nice looking WRB!

But you confuse me, thread is about Capitol Subaru, and you guys are with Stevens :-) Got me too excited, till I saw you worked with a different dealer :-)

Again - CONGRATS!

There were two sold WRB BRZs at Steven's Creek when I stopped by there yesterday. Masood said a SWP one went off the lot earlier.

Also, they have an automatic Limited WRB BRZ up for grabs for the public... but they're asking for a $3k mark up, totaling $32.6k. Pretty ridiculous.
