Abosolutely! Even though they made Z4 GT3, that's different beast. Road production Z4 is more of GT car. They soften the suspension & meant for luxury drive/cruise nowhere near track minded sports car.

It might sound narrow minded, but I think a lot of automotive company use "Sports car" to get the sales up, but realistically it's not a true sports car. It's water down sports car, Grand Touring &/or sporty car.

I know my BRZ isn't sports car. It's sporty/GT car.

Well according to some people on Spyderchat, the MR2 is still not a sports car, because the suspension is shitty compared to a Miata. lol

But I still miss that thing. Keeping the gas floored on the weak ass 1ZZ, open diff spinning the hell out of the rear wheels, even the back pain and hearing loss and spending 10 minutes trying to figure out how to put groceries into the frunk. I think I even miss the dead synchros, because getting the timing just right with double clutching felt really great lol.

I think the magic number for me is 2500, if any mid engined 2 seater with manual transmission comes onto the market at 2500 lbs curb weight I'll immediately trade my car in. Depreciation, cost, practicality be damned, I'll have my 2 seater.

Yesterday night my girlfriend on and off of about 4ish years finally said our farewells and we broke up, so then I walked home, too proud to get a ride from her BRZ and as I was walking I noticed this weird dude with what seemed like a parachute, so I tripped and the spaghetti spilled out of my pockets.

Damn. Sad days all around.

Good thing I have my Charlotte now. (My FR-S)
