i just recieved a call from my dealer and she informed me my BRZ along with other BRZs are at the port and will be here wedsday after memorial day..... To be honest this is my first car purchase and im extremely nervous.

I will keep you all updated in the next week with pics and stuff and let you all know how it rides. I know the other guy getting the Red brz will keep you updated as well.

Confirmed too from the same dealer! We are getting Red L 6MT 3/1 ordered.
We should take the delivery on the same day and take some pics. Especially if that 3rd Blue will be there. I would like a pic with my STi before it is gone

Since I'm sure your dealer and my dealer both use SDC to get their cars, that means I should be seeing mine very soon too!!!! *checks dealer website to see if their inventory shows BRZs on the way*

Just called and i'm off of the wait list and have an ETA of "Month of June". It's still not a VIN or definitive ETA but hey its a start!

So what port do you think these came through? An earlier Boston shipment?

I actually order from a SoA dealer in PA. So your cars through SDC might be here sooner.

Which is totally bizarre.

One thing I did figure with SDC was that there would be very short notice.

I've just dropped by the dealer and was told that mine is not w/ VIN and ETA yet. I am #1 at the dealer, but the 2nd in the list ordered WRB got the VIN and ETA this morning. It is June 20th. Getting close, but not yet for me.

Here is my order.

Was this $1500 markup there when you originally went in? Did you already agree on MSRP?

I'm guessing mine will be the same, except more along the lines of "hey, your car is here, come pick it up." Then I scramble around trying to get financing asap.

No none of the 9 or so dealerships around me would agree to anything upfront so I went with the one with the best salesman.. may have back fired

Im waiting for a call from my Subaru dealer in Toms River, NJ. They told me they will be getting a few in & if I wanted to take a look up close & personal, I may do so. I would like to get a Dark Grey Metallic BRZ Limited right away. Im holding off though till possibly next Spring to see if the new year FR-S will have improvements. If not, then I will place an order for the BRZ Limited ASAP!!! I never get first years production... Am I wierd? I did the same thing with my Scion tC, was all over it from the beginning & got an 06. I feel they get all the kinks out of the way and definitely make improvements.

Ouch, that's something you should've worked out when you first sat down. This close to getting the car and you might have to pay $1500 markup just to get it could've been avoidable. I made sure the dealer was charging me MSRP before I signed anything or gave them my deposit.

My salesman contacted me today too to let me know that the status of my order has been changed to "Completed". Next status change will be "Truck shipped". ETA 05/30 still.

Ha, that's the dealership I've been dropping by every now and then to see if or when their BRZs would start showing up. I left my number with one of the people there and about a week or two ago he called me back saying how they were expecting the first shipment to roll in at the beginning of May.

I'm just around the corner from them so maybe I'll get to see you and your BRZ on the streets if you're in the neighborhood. I'm the guy with the only white LGT (4th gen) in the area :P
