Vancouver FR-S Demo Day?

Hey guys,

So I went to Regency Toyota at Main and 12th to see if they had an FR-S in the other day. Turns out they had one in but the owner took it home already after they did the dealer prep for it.

So there is one running the streets out there.

I noticed that other cities and cities in the states have a demo day for this car. does anyone else from the lower mainland know if we're getting one or if Scion Canada is having one for the west coast?

Also, I was talking to one of the sales men and they said that they wouldn't have a demo car for at least 4 months. Are there any other dealerships that have cars available for test drives?

4 months for a demo? That is whack. Dealerships in the GTA are expecting them at the end of the month. Something smells here.

Openroad Scion will have a silver auto demo car come May 21

I was thinking of buying this year but decided to buy next year.

I saw threads about demo day in Toronto, I guess I missed the Vancouver thread.

Guess I'll check out OpenRoad, thanks for the heads up.

Who did you talked to in Regency Scion? The Toyota PA gave you the wrong info? We have the DEMO on 21 this month too. All dealer in lower mainland do have the same time. Let me know if you need help.

Has anyone got any more information on this? Or any more information period?

I would love to know when OpenRoad is having their test drive event. I would also like to know if they have actually got our cars in or not.

I'm dying to get this process rolling. Everyone keeps asking me "when is the car coming?". Of course I know nothing.

im getting all these weird information on it, my friend called in and they said tmr they'll have one to look at. I pre-ordered one last monday and they said that they'd get one next week sunday which is probably may 27 or june 3rd if it is a sunday

are you serious? you pre-ordered monday and they say that soon eh haha now I feel crazy for pre-order last year

my bad i meant that they'd have one to demo.. this is the demo thread. for my car to arrive i was told 2-3 months or something. I'm like 31st on the list(fuck me)

Don't feel so bad. Jay is number 2, I'm number 6.

Even we have no clue when the cars will be here. We were told end of May but I doubt thats really going to happen.

I'm really feeling like we're being stung along a bit here and I may go talk to another dealer.

We should be getting the demo car on Jun. 1st. the reason is because Scion USA is not releasing the FR-S until Jun. 1st. therefore Canada has to wait as well.

I would like to know how you confirmed this? How do you know that Scion Canada and US is related?

Also according to the sales rep at OpenRoad Richmond, the cars are on sale now. So why hold them? Especially when you see posts from guys out east saying "Got my VIN... car will be here 05/27" sort of thing.

I can't imagine all the dealers in Canada are making this mistake. Its possible but I highly doubt it.

The dealers were giving answers by Sicon Canada, right now what I know is that there's some paper work problems so that the custom is not releasing the car. this is the answer that Scion Canada gave to thier dealers yesterday. about that matching with USA releasing Date is the rumor between the sales, but it's highly possible. I heard that from 2 sales guys talking.
