I'm convinced it's my stock header heat-shield though and not the pipe as I have used a rubber pipe coupler to insulate the pipe from rattling at most locations. If I pound (with the side of my fist) on the KW bracket above the AC I can hear what I believe to be my heatshield rattle. Not sure what to really do about it besides maybe some large worm clamps...

Tried the Carbon Drive App and it seems to be very inconsistent on my phone. I am guessing it is too noisy where my car is parked. I loosened it quite a bit after you guys mentioned it and now it seems quieter (still noticeable at idle). Now the belt vibrates (visually) where its a little slack. Is it too lose now?

Thanks!

Up for the question :-)

The oil cooler is not branded but pretty much solid. The problem is it won't fit on the KW kit because the oil filter host hit the bracket, so the shop who installed myt kw kit relocate the oil filter position near the rotrex. (It is circle in the photo)
Brothers do you think it will affect on how the oil filter works? Considering it has more distance from the engine. Do you think it will affect the pressure pushing the oil in the engine? How about the position of my Greddy oil catch can? I think KW guys should answer this, considering their kit might be accuse of the cause, if i will have engine failure in the future.
Thanks in advance,
and more power KW

Arrow Kraftwerks BRZ vs Kraftwerks Miata side-by-side

I've also posted this on Subaru BRZ's facebook page and wanted to share here too

my BRZ w/ @KraftWerks SC next to my friend's NC3 Miata also w/ Kraftwerks (Supercharger kit has been recently installed), both cars are built for track use with similar mods and tuned by @moto-mike from Moto-East . ..throttle response on the MX-5 was really good and a bit smoother than the BRZ -as we thought it would be, most likely due to advantage of a smaller C30-84 Rotrex unit (vs C30-94 in the BRZ kit), or Miata engine's flatter torque advantage in the mid range (where we have a dip) or maybe combination of both factors
I wonder what kind of numbers the Miata will put down on the dyno and how those will translate to lap times this season

hood vents and the removable clear tray on the Miata also looks also really good and makes sense for combating the heat at the track ,

The belt will move a bit. As long as you don't hear it audibly slapping it's not too loose.

Just so everyone knows, the belt will stretch a bit. I have 600 miles on my car since I installed the charger and set the belt tension to 61hz. Over the last few days the belt slap got more and more, today I had to snug it up again and is back to being nice and quiet again

I wish they just used a spring loaded tensioner. I've adjusted my belt almost everyday since I've installed my kit and started driving my car after winter hibernation. I'm tired of fussing with it.

@KraftWerks is it common for the belt to stretch a bit initially?

My Belt stretched a bit, ive had to adjust mine twice after first install. As of right now with 11-12k miles the belt still visibly looks ok. Id have to assume it would though, i mean even the steel 520 chain on my sport bike gets stretched a little bit, i personally dont expect this belt to last the life of the car, I was talking to a customer that feels it should, even thought the OEM drive belt doesnt, i will most likely swap belts at the service interval of the supercharger, for me 20-25k, i dont think ill wait for that 30k mark. My fluid has already turned a grey.

There is not.

It's not something you'll be doing a lot...

I just took my car out and did some logging. A quick question for those more experienced... I had the traction control on when I was doing my logging. And to stay out of sight I was on an older bumpy road. If the traction control kicks in while doing a pull will that effect knock as the engine cuts in and out.
