I was #2 originally and then changed my order on the 22nd. According to the sales guy I've been talking to, Gary, SoG was allocated 5 cars total. He wasn't sure where I ended up on the list, figure I'll get a car when I get one, I'm not really in too much of a hurry.

I hate being in New England. Even though I have the VIN they can't give me any info since Subar of New England is it's own separate company.

Called SOA today...still no VIN.

I was told that the Baltimore port, which serves the East coast, will receive 213 BRZs today, 129 BRZs May 24th, and four shipments in June. Hopefully mine will be on the earlier shipment.

ordered 3/2/2012 still no Vin or ETA and to dadte never received the "weekly" update call I was promised...but then again since they haven't and probably won't update the status until it's here the entire group of people in the office responsible for answering our calls is useless and unnecessary, fire them all so our cars can be cheaper

Nice! That would make sense actually- when I called last week the rep said I was still waitlisted but to check back very soon for updates. Later said they expected to know something soon. She kept emphasizing "soon," so perhaps my car is on the boat arriving today or Thursday. I'll check tomorrow and Friday to see if I have a VIN yet.

Wow. That seems like a lot more than 500/month for the whole US since that's just for Baltimore. If this is true I wonder what % of preorders will be filled by mid-July....

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority were.
