I was talking about geographically central to many of the people on the map thread. There is no one spot that works great for all and I just thought it be nice for the Northern/Central folks to have a crack at it.
Doubt that Lebanon Kansas hold a lot of attractions for most.

Canada would be fun... but don't want to do it around same time as other event (due to price & reservation go high). BUT I do like the idea of Canada.

NCCAR in NC do sound great... it's one of my list for sure.
Geeez not so sure they would let some of you guys across the border!
You mat get here and want to stay (at least until the snow comes).

Going with the more central location idea, isn't there that place in Ohio that Car and Driver tests there cars? It has some awesome roads that would be a blast to drive!

Yeah, its east of Cincinnati, through parts of South Central Ohio. Only potential problem is that there is quite literally *nothing* else to do in that area, unless the event itself was based in Cincinnati.

I second the Carolinas. There's beaches, Mountain roads, and everything in between. There's multiple choices for locations IMO. Plus it feels a great in the summer, most of the time

And you are in North Carolina!
Too damned hot and humid there in the summer for us Northerners.
