Monte-carlo for PvE

And hawkmoon for PvP (until they nerf hand-cannons to oblivion next patch) lol

Finally did the raid last night (on normal), got a bunch o energy and some shards. And the heavy machine gun (its nice, but gjallahorne is kinda a must)

I've finally gotten around to working on my Hawkmoon. It's about halfway finished. Damn it's a fun hand cannon..

Word of Crota is... Meh. Besides void damage, it doesn't feel unique at all, and hand cannons already don't get much precision damage bonus against majors so it just kinda falls on its face.

Hawkmoon is such an amazing hand cannon. ~3k crits. Decent rate of fire and outstanding range.

Totally makes people cry in pvp.

Jumped in on my friend's Gatekeeper checkpoint for VoG Hard Mode last night. This is the loot I received:

- Praedyth's Timepiece
- 2 Atheon's Epilogues
- Vex Mythoclast


I'd say this is probably the best haul of loot I've ever received from doing a raid. I barely even did half of it too! Good way to start the week off before the reset!

Wow that was some haul there @MokSpeed.

BTW, to update my post above, there's definitely more than 63 dead ghosts to be found. I guess they added some with the Dark Below expansion. I was working on my ALT character today and was doing Siege of the Warmind mission and found 2 more ghosts by accident. So I wonder how many more there are now? I also picked up the one in the tower that only is available during IB. Just go past the IB dude and it's on the hand rail that prevents you from falling off the tower.

I picked up Dying Light the other day, great game so far.

I might be taking a break from this game for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, noticed you hadn't been on in awhile. I heard that game was pretty fun, maybe I'll have to check it out. I'm not sold on Evolve yet. I'm pretty stingy with my game purchases lol.

It's hard to pick good games these days, the hype train rolls so hard and everyone is just pre-ordering everything. Every game looks amazing but so many games fell flat last year that there's no way I'm doing that anymore, wasted way too much money.

I played the Evolve beta and didn't love it either. Dying Light is good though, been having a lot of fun playing it co-op.

Yeah, don't see myself pre-ordering any games in the future. I'll wait for reviews from here on out (and I'll still take that with a grain of salt). I'll run the NF/Weekly with you Saturday if we're on at the same time.

They try to entice you with exclusive pre-order content, but I kind of found a loophole for this (at least with GameStop).

The minimum down payment is only $5 to pre-order a game from Gamestop. If you pre-order a game with Gamestop then you are guaranteed the exclusive content. I wait a week for people to play the game read up on reviews and feedback. If the game checks out and is good, I'll go pick my copy up a week later and still have access to pre-order content. If the game ends up being a flop I simply call them and tell them I want to cancel the pre-order and transfer the $5 to another future release I am interested in.
