BRZ's ARE HERE

A buddy of mine works at this place and took some pictures of the cars. The location is Concord at Rutherford and Jane. Forgive me if this is old news...

I don't think this is old news as far as I know. Nice catch.

What is that place? There seems a wide variety of cars and the lot is HUGE. I want to know where those BRZs are headed because we all already know there are no demos going to dealerships?

That's not good . That plastic shouldn't be taken off until it's being detailed for the owner delivery.

He said they were for the press only, thats probably why they dont have the plastic wrapping. I will update as soon as I hear anything from him.

The lot is located in Vaughn, Ontario.

PDIs include detailing? Everyone's been saying that you should take the car for a detailing before getting a clear bra installed, and that a detailing and clearbra one after the other, at the same shop would be the best idea.

Well, depending on dealership, it's "detailing" in quotes. I've never bought a car and not had to do some clean up myself. But that's OK, I consider it part of the fun!

I used to be a lot guy at a Nissan/Infiniti Dealership. Depending on the Car, my detailing would vary . If someone was buying a used sentra, My detailing would consist of washing and vacuuming. If it was a $70,000 Q45 or QX56, A detail for me would full wash, vacuum, claybar, wax and interior treatment...management got pissed because i took so long..they said "just wash the damn thing and dry it off", but i never heard a customer complain that their car was too clean.

I wonder why they're all premiums? I know they're not sport-tech because no fog lights from what I can see.. I guess they cheaped out on the press cars? haha

Has your friend had a chance to peek into the cars? Curious if Canada is in fact receiving the different nav/HU.

We are getting a different unit in the Great White North for sure. We are getting the Pioneer® AVIC – X9310BT according to the Canadian BRZ brochure. If you look at the pics of the cars already delivered in the US (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...1&d=1336969020) they have this one: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5732

Haven't we learned from the past to never assume unless we see it with our own eyes even if its from a 'reliable' source? The pedals were a heart breaker but I'll learn to love the ones we get some how... haha

Off topic here, I got a noob question. Does Subaru have their own factory performance parts? Like the scion that gets the trd?

Aside fron STI. Theyve got their SPT (subaru performance tuning) line . On top of their regular "genuine " accessories line

The spt line isnt anything extreme usually. Strut bars, oil caps, battery tie downs, mufflers and heat shields are about as extreme as they get. Theyve offered lowering springs too at times i believe.
