In any case, I agree, if they have future upgrades in mind, don't go with an axelback, however there are options still.

Avoid all over Works products at all costs... They will lie and make shit up just for a sale. Does everyone not remember when they tried to convince everyone their drop in filter was getting 10 whp?

Now they claim that their mid pipe adds power too after many vendors who did R&D like Nameless have come out and said that the mid pipe wasnt worth changing since it didnt add any power. Also I hear from other people that they use shitty materials for their parts. According to some people they dont use 304 ss unless you pay more for it.

If you dont plan to turbo or S/C and stay NA I would go with either a Nameless or Greddy Axleback and get the nameless front/overpipe combo along with their headers. The Mid pipe I doubt will add much restriction. Most Cat backs dont get very large gains and ussually its the front/over pipe and headers that add the most power.

I would never buy a part from a company like them who refused to send out 1 filter to another vendor to dyno test it so it would be an independent dyno. 1 filter sent out if it truly did get 10 whp they would benefit/gain more from giving 1 away to test out. Thats a huge red flag right away if they refused to send out 1 filter which would of brought in a ton of sales if it truly did get 10 whp, but obviously it didnt after independent dynos came out and by then the damage was already done. They sold a ton of them by the time people realized that they were full of shit.

I agree that a mid-pipe is the worst use of your money in the exhaust stream.

As for power gain claims, everyone over promises. I wouldn't say the products are absolute crap, since there's definitely other junk out there, but you have many other options out there. Like the Nameless, Greddy or HKS axelbacks.

I have the SP Elite. No complaints on sound. Just one complaint and that's for some reason, Greddy did not use stainless for the pipe going from the muffler to the stock mid pipe. After 2 winters mine is all rust. I figure I'll be going Ark after this because I like the look and the sound is quiet. It could still last for years to come. It doesn't seem to have impacted it's integrety but it doesn't look great.

You can use the OEM gasket or just go to napa and ask for one that will last. Any good quality gasket will be fine.

I have the SP Elite on my Innovate charged car and love it.

I got an online price from Evasive MS for $600 shipped. Thanks

Will it be fine if I store the car during the winter?

Probably. I'll be storing mine from here on out. I don't think it will rot off, it's just annoying is all. Why make a muffler out of 99% stainless? Is it really that much more work to make the neck stainless too?

I love the look and love the sound, just not happy with that one part of it. But my old EVO did the same thing....

They do sound quite similar. The build quality is about the same for the both however the Top Speed does have some misalignment issues. My right tip sits slightly higher and to the left and my left tip is sticking out about .5cm further than the right. Doesn't bother me too much but some might have a problem with the tips not being totally centered.
