I just saw that topic about the red 86 in dubai at your bolg.... sure that car evolved so much in the last 2 years
I know another one (in secret place) trying to buy, but I never hear anything from the owner the last 4 months? I emailed him this morning.

whats the price of a clean (stock engine) R32 GTR with clean conversion? I'm torn between getting an R32, FD, S13/14 or a 2 door impreza?
Just give me an idea on the cars prices
there is one R33 converted going for 25K, clean interior. apart from that some of the skyline are treated pretty bad. messed up interior job and tuned to hell, so they are worth peanuts... there is a garage called Sub-zero (mario garage) in Dubai, lots of R32/33/34 on the lot. so expect between 10K~20K for R32s all the way up to 100K for the R34

here are some listed skylines
http://uae.dubizzle.com/classified/a...issan/skyline/

FD3S is a good choice too

That AE86 has changed big time, though the interior is mostly expired and gone.. I know there are several AE86 hiding in the UAE but I cannot find them..

I've spotted 6 AE86's (excluding mine) in Qatar, but once I bought mine in 2006 never saw the other 86s ??? 2 of them were corolla levins

they are very rare, the last time i saw an 86 on the road, it was back in 2003, it was a black trueno, the left door and left quarter panel weren't stright "bad body repair", it was driven by a filipino guy, he wanted to race me, and i was driving a stock 1990 starlet gt, he couldn't keep up.

Oh that's cool news, so the manual gearbox is available only at entry model ?
do you know if the entry model will have LSD standard, optional or its deleted ?

a friend of mine in ksa, has one of his relatives working with ksa toyota dealer. He said that less than 1200 AE86s were sold in the gulf region! now after +25 years you guess how many left on road

The thing I hate most in our cultuer here that once a thing become old, they just trash/scrap it
See now its been 4 years since I started looking for a clean R30 or R31 coupe, guess what I found NON ! all have bent chassis and toyota powered engines for doing "thier USELESS sh1t"

regarding the high and entery models... do you guys mean that the high model will be only auto??? damn, what if I want HID and manual?? cuz the entery model don't have HID

1 more resone to buy a BRZ cuz all grades have HID

I know, that's the problem with our culture but times are changing with automotive communities growing in the region.. Its actually shocking that 1200 units sold and barely any survived, 1200 is still a formidable number. The bigger problem is that many people that get such cars like the R30 or relevant dont really value them either. You get to see them abused under the hands of ghetto tuners and boy racers..

For me I am glad they are interested in bringing a manual to the UAE, whether its an entry model or not.. Because dealers here view manual as poor sales so that is one big step..
