Someone keyed my window

Shop around on eBay for good deals on OEM replacements. Also there is a forum member on here who may still have his OEM passenger window. I bought his driver side one not too long ago. Hit up @MicheleAbbate

I agree. Try and buff the glass, the mark may come off. I was an idiot and used a beer can to scrape ice off my windshield. (of my old truck) It left aluminum marks all over the windshield. They buffed off.

Depending on how deep the cut is you can actually get a glass company to repair it. You shouldn't notice the scratch too. I would really look into that and go to one of your local autoglass stores you trust.

Best of luck OP and sorry to hear.

That may be one option. There are many types of repairs out there that are worth a shot, but it will depend on how bad and deep the scratch is.

Keep in mind, your door's glass is tempered glass and not laminated glass like your windshield. So you'll want to make sure the techniques and products used support tempered glass, which I'd guess would.

This was a random site that I thought was interesting on the different depths of scratches. It sounds like you should be able to get it repaired with out having to pay the money of a new window. https://www.gtglass.com/glass-scratch-removal

But for what I'd do is call around your area to auto glass companies and ask if they can fix up your glass. If it can't be fixed they'll let you know and give you a reason why. Just my two cents.

OP, was viewing some threads and I believeMicheleAbbate is selling the passenger side window. If you can't repair the damage you might want to hit them up.
