Anyone check their VON with SOA recently?

My order number is 9 digits in length. I assume the last 5 digits are important (since they were posted by the guy above me), and that the first 4 are perhaps region or dealer-specific.

With the supposed 5,000 BRZs we're getting for this year however, perhaps it's only the last 4 digits that matter?

I'm going to guess this is not the case...I placed my order on 4/6 and the last 5 of my VON are 04000. Based on what I've seen so far, this is a rather low last 5, yet was placed over a month after the pre-orders started.

The VON system is probably used across all Subaru orders, not just BRZ. I'm guessing the beginning of the VON number identifies your dealer and the end identifies the order number at that dealer.

I was wondering what the first 4 digits are myself. But between the 11 pre-orders we have, there are 3 different series for the first 4 digits at the same dealer. So, we can't assume that the last 4 digits are in any sort of series unless the first 3 or 4 digits are the same.

It ends with 001XX (less than 150). Due to arrive in Cinci on the 29th.

I put in my preorder on the 9th for a Crystal Black Silica BRZ Premium 6MT at Annapolis subaru. I'm 9th in line but maryland seems to be only getting something like 30 cars. I figure that I'll get mine by the end of june due to my color choice.

Anyone else preorder from Annap?

I assume that since I have a VIN the car must have arrived in port. I wonder from which port does it take 4 weeks to get to southern Ohio?

Columbus OH here, and I just got a call telling me the 29th as well!

I didn't ask for the VIN.

So now to get financing offers, prep the car for trade, and figure out how much my down payment will be..

contacted my dealer today and they got a vin and ETA of june for their first car. trying to confirm my spot in line. i was told i was #5 when i preordered on 3/15. i think he said i was 3 or 4 when i went back after the msrp was announced to sign a order sheet with the msrp.

Emailed my dealer, they emailed me back quickly and said they only have the VON, no VINs or ETA for any of their allocations yet. She checks every day and will let me know as soon as anything changes. +1 for great customer service.

Not at all, she's fast with getting back to emails and checks the order status every day. I really appreciate it. Lots of people on here are saying that their dealers are annoyed or are slow to respond. I'm thankful mine isn't like that.

I agree - I have the same view of my dealer. He's been right all the way and forthcoming with any facts.

If the ship goes to multiple ports - This is a quote from my guy

all Subaru inventory goes through either San Francisco (our region), Vancouver (northwest), and an east coast port

Then it could be that the Cali and TX cars are still on the ship. Anyone in TX got a VIN?????? - I haven't seen anyone. I bet it's the same for NV, AZ, LA, FL too... Patience!
