So, i finally got Techstream to work with one of my old XP Windows 32bit laptop from 2002.
My question is, I used the software to reduce the delay of the "auto" head light auto off when the door is open, to 0 seconds, but this doesnt work when the head light is set to the "on" position. Is there any way to get it to auto off the "on" headlights? I like driving with my headlights during the day (especially when it rains here in South Florida, so many people would rather put their hazards on then just turning on their headlights.). Ive gotten so used to my Tacoma auto turning off the "on" headlights. BTW, i changed the light threshold to "Light2" I am also not above placing a piece of black tape over the light sensor to fool the system into always leaving the "auto" headlights on when driving during the day. Would there be a problem with this? Where is the light sensor? There is a bubble sensor on the right side of the dash and a indentation divit sensor on the left side. Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but its best to keep all the related information together. 2015 BRZ Limited. P.S.Maybe 20 minutes turning off is when your headlights is set to "on" and the 30 seconds turn off is when the head lights are set to "auto". Ones fail-safe and ones convenience. |
