Unfortunately, only sw20kosh was there for both days, so there were 2 kits there per day :p

On the flip side, sw20kosh's car had stable temps on low boost + E50 (?) + Setrab 925 oil cooler. I was driving, although I was short shifting. @buddy32 I believe oil was stable around 220F. If I were revving to 7k instead of 6k, I still think it would have stabilized at a safe temp. Ambient was around 75F when i drove.

This would be the second turbo car that has withstood the "csg mike challenge", first being @ImperiousRex's car.

The ideal plan is at least Thunder hill and Seca by the end of the year. Not sure if I'll get around to those yet, but either way I'll track at least twice more this year. I've got some drive train issues I need to fix first.

I also hope to compete in 86cup next year if its going on then. That would be one track event a month.

Thanks for watching, I love making the videos.

The engine/turbo performed well, though my suspension is another story

Any chance you all would ever just sell your frontpipe and overpipe separate from your turboback?

Must be nice to be able to track once a month What are the rules for 86cup with regards to power, suspension, tires, aero. Just trying to figure out what parts to develop to make sure you guys WIN! assuming good driver behind the wheel.

Are you referring to the 3" overpipe and 3" front pipe used in our 3" Header back exhaust system.

Yes, would it be able to bolt up to any catback?

Or another question, your turboback can be setup as a single exit? And it would still be 3 inch?

I'm still working on becoming that good driver. I don't think I'll be able to track every month, but I am going to try my best.

Rules are here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52982

I'm at 6.125 points (modified class) and the header will put me just shy of 6.5, the limit for modified. So I plan on staying with this group.

Our frontpipe ends in a 3" V-band and is designed to bolt up our 3" v-band midpipe included in our header-back and turbo-back. So no it will not bolt up to any cat-back. When we originally announced our dual exhaust system, we also posted info on offering it as a single exit exhaust but there were no interest so we decided just to produce the dual exhaust. We do offer a 3" v-band to v-band adaptor pipe that can be used to convert the dual exit to single exit exhaust for those looking to shed some weight when tracking their 86 and yes it would be full 3" when used in the header-back or turbo-back configuration.

So it looks like there's no limit on the power with regards to a turbo system. Can you pm me your list of mod points according to the list. Thanks.

As mike said temps were great. Coolant during hot laps would be somewhere between 196 - 208 and oil would be somewhere between 200-210. Quite the contrast to 230-240 coolant and 265-270 oil I saw a month ago with a 13 row setrab and 100 deg ambient.

The 25 row series 9 setrab is double the volume of the Perrin 13 row series 6. I suspect it is doing a very good job of removing heat from the oil, which in turn is preventing a lot heat from entering the coolant system.

I am on stock radiator. @mkivsoopra who has a koyo radiator and the same 25 row who was running 3(?) more psi and ~50(?) more whp than me saw the same temps.

I tested oil pressure on track. 60-75 psi at redline depending on how warm the oil was (max of 210ish). @Dezoris

Still need to test it next summer in 100 deg temps.

To add to that.. we mounted the massive oil cooler between the intercooler and the radiator/AC condenser. It slip right in with the stock radiator, but with the Koyo, I had to tilt the radiator/AC condenser back an inch or so to fit the Setrab, then trim a little bit of the PTuning intake shroud near the overflow bottle area.

We're both using stock fans + shrouds.

I forgot are you on a 40 or 50wt oil?
If you are seeing max of 210F on that monster you wont be worrying about pressures and could get away with 10w30 or 10w40 and enjoy the extra power from it.
