15 PSI??? YOU CRAZY!

And without caps, I must say I love the build..Respect for the Winnipeg car!

Have you installed your new clutch yet (or has it even arrived?) I need a new clutch too, even at ~6 1/4 PSI I am getting massive slip in 6th, and bad enough slip in 5th. I never had this before I installed my MBC, but I figure it is because of the faster spool time and more consistent boost levels than the AVO wastegate.

Yeah I'm thinking 15 or 16psi lol. Just ordered the FBm fuel pump, dw450 Injectors and an Omni 3 bar map.

The exedy stage 1 was installed last week and it's awesome so far. I'm not sure if it's placebo effect but it feels much more solid and connected. It's a bit heavier but otherwise very oem in its engagement

Tint is 35 percent all around

Here are some vids of lapping at Brainerd

Go easy on me, I spent the first half of the day learning the track on my own, and I was also at about 80% most of the time due to having to drive the car home afterwards. There were all kinds of ridiculous race cars there using the day as a practice session. There was a fully prepped Audi S4 race car that had full aero. It would literally drive around me as if I were standing still on the 180km/h sweeper. There were also a bunch of fully caged M3's on race slicks, a new 911 Turbo on slicks, and about half a dozen other 911 Turbos with cages and slicks. There was a 450hp EVO that was a full out race car, which was also insane.

Here's the pit area:

If you didn't notice, there are race trailers everywhere. I was one of like 3 people that drove their cars in. It was pretty intimidating at first, but everyone was awesome.

I also had a chance to put in my Takata 2" harness. What a difference! I would highly recommend it to anyone that does any kind of tracking.

That's too bad. I ordered the Stage 2 and it's finally ready to be picked up today. If yours is loud, I can't imagine mine being any better.

I see the mods continue. You're making good use of your good weather while you can.

lol yeah, pretty much. It seems we have a hail scare a couple of times a week this year.

I'm hoping the noise lessens as the clutch breaks in. I only have a few hundred km on it so far

A small update... well kind of

So I installed the FBM fuel pump (Warlbro 485), DW 450cc injectors and OMNI 3 bar map. 15 PSI is a lot of fun

Warlbro vs OEM:

Also, I snagged these from a local guy parting out an STI:

2005 WRX STI Brembo Brakes

All 4 are in really nice condition and won't need rebuilding. I did a quick degrease/clean on them, but will full detail them prior to the install. I've ordered DBA T3 4000 Slotted rotors for all 4 corners. For anyone that is doing this same upgrade, you'll need rotors from an 08+ in the rear to make sure it's compatible with our E-Brakes, and also make sure you order the DBA since they are drilled for both 5x bolt patterns.

I also had to order an adapter bracket from KNS brake to mount the rear calipers properly. From what I've read, the rotor offset is off slightly, so this will make it be a 100% bolt on affair. It's the v2.0 bracket off of their site

I also ordered Hawk HPS pads. Everything but for the rear caliper bracket and rotors should be here next week some time. I'm not anticipating any fit issues on my 17's, but we'll see I guess

Latest changes and part arrivals:

Gates racing belt

Fog light delete with the passenger side hollowed out to allow air flow to the oil cooler

Brake calipers on (still waiting on the rear bracket to arrive)

And this beastly setup! Full Blown Rad + shroud + fans

I'm putting the rad in tonight, so I'll post up if there's any fit issues. This thing is FAT

Rear LCA I'm assuming? The buddy clubs are nice and have a couple of holes you can use to mount the bottom of the shock and maintain stroke. Honestly, most LCA in that price range will be very similar. I'm very happy with my buddy clubs but i don't really see any one thing that makes them stand out against the rest. The rear LCA market is saturated. Some others I was considering were voodoo and cusco

Yes, the rear LCA .... I looked at those two and I agree they are very similar, thats why I dont want to pay much.

Small update

Rear brembos are on:

I also removed the stock coolant reservoir and replaced it with a nice unit from @Chase Bays With some very minor modification to the bracket, it bolts right to the Full Blown rad shroud. I highly recommend this. The can is nice quality and it cleans up the engine bay significantly.

I've also ordered a 3" downpipe, overpipe, and front pipe from AVO (Catless). I'm hoping to see this next week!

And finally, I pulled the trigger on a CaFi Dashlinq4 for no other reason than having in-dash Torque!
