/shrugs was doing paperwork. dealer says "hmm, well right now the car is @ the port of Los Angeles, and we are scheduled to process the car on Thursday". Not sure if preference date has any effect on delivery date...

Man the closer we get to ETA, the more iffy I'm feeling about purchasing the car...
Just how I feel tbh.

So can anyone tell me what the retail price are for all the extra parts for the rs? The body kit, exhaust, etc.

Another question whats the difference between the 1,100 dollar trd exhaust and the quad exhaust?

Have not heard the quad but from what I understand it is just the stock exhaust with different tips. If that is indeed the case then the TRD exhaust sounds much better with a nice low sound that won't instill quite so much hatred in your neighbors as some aftermarket. Whether it gives any performance improvement is a hugely debated subject but in combo with a drop in filter I find there is at least better throttle response then stock. Just make sure that either way you go you plug/delete that damned sound tube so you can hear what you really sound like.

Oh and do not feel "iffy" you can not go wrong! If the biggest complaints are a perceived lack of power (perfectly fine for a DD) which can be fixed with some mods if you need more for your reasons for owning the car and an annoying noise that has zero effect on the cars operation then you are still ahead of many new cars!

USDM TRD is a car back, JDM TRD (which is on the RS) is an axleback (muffler)

Remains to be seen. Although they are both quads, on close examination usdm appears to be slightly different than jdm. Well see...

Thanks guys.

I really do want this car just because of the unique color.
I've had a yellow lancer ralliart before that I loved to death, but it was an A/T.

Anyway, let's say I do get the car...what's everyone's preference on breaking her in? I read a lot about it, and on the intarwebs they say break her in hard. But in the manual it says don't go past 4k rpm for the first 1000 miles...I'm probably gonna do what the manual says.

Also when should I do the first oil change? Again, online it says 100 miles (or something lower, Idr).

Thanks again you guys for making the purchase a lot less stressful and making me more knowledgable about new cars haha.

Had a yellow Ralliart as well only MT and it was loads of fun! I followed the manufacture's break in. Know there are loads of theories out there but I will go with what the engineers that made the car say thanks! Where did you get 100 miles from for first change ? Again the engineers that made it say first at 5000 miles so that is when I will do it. Of course may be different if tracking or racing but mine is just a DD.
