I don't really care, it's not going to make the car get here any faster. I don't need to be pampered like a baby through the whole process, as long as they get the car here safe and sell it to me I'll be happy.

No can't complain about the price

New Impreza WRX STi £34000 on the road
In 2009 I paid £23000 for a wrx diesel
In 2000 (yes 12years ago !!!) my classic turbo 2000 was a whopping £22700 and a P1 ( uk version of a type R ) was £32000

New WRX STi is $34,000. Interesting price difference.

Nope. :P My dealer has flooded me with information from before I ordered up until now. Every step of the way he's sent me e-mails telling me when it had a VIN, when it was getting on a boat, etc. I feel really lucky though considering what I've heard from others.

I think SOA has dropped the ball on the customer service so far with the BRZ. The lack of information on price, accessories and arrival dates has been frustrating for us future BRZ owners.

I can't blame my dealer at all... they have given me as much info as they have been able to share.

I'm not about to cancel my order, but I'm certainly not impressed with Subaru right now. Not sure I would special order another car from them in the future.

I'm not one of the first 86 so let me be the first to say, ''fuck that's a big boat''.

EDIT: That's not the boat, if you google that boat (Auriga Leader) you can find a web site that shows it as being off the coast of Europe.

Subaru has definitely been outclassed by Scion in just about every regard when it comes to this launch.

I can't remember another new vehicle launch that's caused this much excitement. Especially on the Toyota/Scion side. Very exciting times for sure.
I'm a sales manager at a Toyota/Scion store in Massachusetts and I have verified with our region that we will get (we being the around 78 dealerships in this region) 460 FR-S' from now till December. With a mix of 80/20% manual to AT. There will also be around 90 more coming in in January 2013.

The west coast will receive theirs first and the east coast is expected to see them towards the end of May

Damn, they looked so much different in all the other pictures.

If I wanted to drive a big metal box I would've ordered a Genesis Coupe.
