From what I can tell, there is only one change between the last official update, and this one. The file is factory.prop located in update-->images-->manufactorycfg

I'm guessing that there is a way to enable/disable it without having to go through the whole restore process, but I'm not the guy to figure it out.

It has been working fine for me, but as soon as I load up Torque Widgets, CarHome crashes on reboot. You get the error Unfortunately CarHome has stopped. Click OK, and you are back on the desktop. I've noticed that if I have the radio open, and reboot, I don't get the CarHome error.

Does anyone have Torque widgets working and staying on the screen after a reboot? I've tried the last official update and it doesn't work.

Also, I'm unable to get my Exchange email account set up. When I enter the account info, it gets to the end, then at the part where it says it needs to change security settings, the settings app crashes with Unfortunately, Settings has stopped. Again, this error is present with the official update.

I've had a few issues of widgets crashing on wake. I've just uninstalled them. It doesn't love the widgets!

Is there a way to get to the balance/fader controls other than through the radio app?

Do they apply globally? Haven't checked?

Yeah they are. I made a change, and it was changed in Poweramp.

I'll second this camera, I installed it this past weekend. I removed the trunk key lock and this camera fits pretty much perfectly into that hole. No drilling holes or other mods required. You basically just push the camera up into the hole and it stays nicely. I tapped power from the reverse lights in the trunk, and tapped the reverse signal from the drivers side kick panel to connect to the Dashlinq4 reverse wire. Ran the video cable from the trunk up to the Dashlinq4 and done!

As 86-BRZ said, the reverse lights (and license plate lights) provide plenty of illumination.

Did you try hooking it up to a full set of test speakers just in case one of the speakers has a short?

Hmm i guess we cant use the license plate holes huh? Didn't want to use the key hole since I have a habit of trunk junk activating the valet button and loving down access to the trunk. I'd I did that I'd probably see how I could disconnect that switch all together

Just put it where I did. It's only plastic and there is little mark there for where to fit it just like the OEM one.

Well, you could go for this one.

I considered it, but I went with the other one because I think its a little less obtrusive. Also cheaper.

Yeah 150 is way too expensive for what could probably be done with a twenty dollar camera. Need to go look at car and sees of factory location replaces trunk lock cylinder.

Had a crack at button remapping using xposed additions. No go.
Would live to be able to remap the right knob.
The other thing that bothers me is music players stop when the car is turned off. Tried to get media playing with screen on via llama but couldn't get it.
These are the main two things I'd love to change... Has anyone done this?

Ha ha I'm guilty of running ac while messing with radio. Worth the cost vs sweating in 93 temps and high humid/mosquitos
