I changed them in my tC (Toyota) and it was a pain. Had to pull out the whole wheel hub and have them pressed out/in...not to mention at 125k miles they were rusted in place sooooo not fun for my mechanic to press them out.

May I ask what the vehicle is doing that makes you conclude it's the wheel bearings?

Just asking to ask- more information may help diagnose the issue.

Have you lifted the car and pulled on the wheels to check for play?

You could try to get it covered under warranty but most likely the car hit a pot hole that damaged it so they won't cover it.

I haven't changed a BRZ bearing yet but I've owned just about every generation of Subaru and I've never seen one that didn't require a hub removal and a press.

I get humming / vibration every time I "bank" (?) left on highway curves.
I havent lifted to check thag it is for sure the wheel bearing, but I intended to this weekend.

Check the wheel to be bent/out of balance.
Or the tire to be damaged.
