Most dealers won't know anything about the release until one shows up on the lot. You will need to point them to the website so that they can see that it exists. At least that's what I had to do to get my Monogram. Putting down a deposit and ordering it prior to the vehicle arriving in port will help insure that you get exactly what you want in terms of options. No unwanted port installed options you don't want to pay for. As already stated, make sure to put it all in writing with the provision that the deposit is refundable. Good Luck!

So... Maybe I missed it, but am I correct to assume that this RS 1.0 will not have standard matte black TRD wheels which were recently posted as an optional accessory on Scion's web page for the 2015 MY FR-S?
http://www.scion.com/cars/FR-S2015/a...wAll&view=grid If so, TRD wheels would have been a nice touch to complete this particular special edition... |

Does anyone think the RS 1.0 edition is going to sell out quickly? I still see plenty of new 10 Series and Monogram cars at my local Toyota Dealer. Some marked down by 4K.

i do and don't. The twins are still very much niche cars, but they are picking up in desirability. so I honestly think they'll sell, not super fast, but they'll sell

If the TRD parts and accessories weren't so overpriced, they would definately sell quickly to current FRS owners. I agree most may wait to see a TRD edition in other colors. The last time I had a yellow car was a Celica in high school but I didn't have a choice because it was my first car. I was just happy to have wheels but today I would wait. I still want to test drive the 1.0 when my dealer gets one on the lot.

I was just about to buy a fr-s when I got this in a scion owners email. I'm first on the list to get 1 of 3 that Cerritos Toyota is scheduled to get. MT of course.
