I took a short test drive in a FRS today. Holy carp was it nice! I didn't have the problem with knees touching the console that I did with the BRZ limited seats. But the shifter left me confused for a good bit. After a couple 3rd gear starts I finally figured out where 1st gear was. Power was abundant compared to the 3400lb 167BHP mini-van. Engine sounded good, even though it uses the infamous noisetube.
Also, these cars are hella unlucky. I started backing up and a truck zoomed by out of nowhere. Luckily I still have a habit of starting to backup then stopping to make sure my blind spot is clear. That POS Mustang GT taught me a few things about having such a huge blind spot. I pulled onto a highway during a green/yellow light, Dumptruck, and suddenly cars came flying over a hill as their light turned green. I had to accelerate pretty briskly to make room but it worked out just fine. I'm probably going to wait until at least next year and use the Subaru VIP program to get a BRZ. God willing. |

The only thing I would change about the seats would be to a lighter color such as tan or beige. I have thought about going with leather, real leather with proper maintenance. The bolsters were worn in on this one, it was used with 10k miles, and they were fantastic except for burning hot from sitting in the sun. |

Well, had another interview today.
Unfortunately I didn't think it went well. There was a huge number of people cause they were all with 1 summer camp group looking for jobs while they're here for the summer (out of state). I'm hopeful but you never know. Got burned though,we were sitting outside and since there were so many people in that group, it took over an hour and now I look like a lobster. |

Counting down the clock as the day is getting closer. I've waited too damn long for this. So I'm hoping to turn everything around as soon as this car is all taken cared of. I don't even care anymore whether its a premium/base or limited/monogram. I think I'm just going to go for it this weekend. Hopefully that will get me back up on my feet.

More people with crashed twins...
I know, believing in this "Curse" is stupid, but seeing all these crashes is really making me reconsider. I love this car, I truly, truly do. I've loved it since I first saw concepts of it when they were first released. Why can't all the stupid people pick on another car? Haha. I just don't want to get this car and insurance going up...and up...and up. |

I know I'll be hooning around with the 86 soon, but tires and work on driver mod will be the first things on my list after the purchase.
