I know you didn't ask me, but pretty much fishing line and a hair dryer is all you need. Some goo gone helps too.

Black heat shrink tubing. Looks professional. Thanks for all your help with this mod.

The earlier you do it, the less adhesive remains after the letters come off. Did mine about 3 weeks after I got it and there was barely any left. A little extra heat and it balls up and comes off easy.

Definitely looks MUCH cleaner with both badges gone. Nice video.

Thanks and I agree. I waited I think a month after I got mine to debadge. I did it to my silverado before I got the BRZ, that thing was hard to do it. Everything stuck to it because it was 3 years old at that time. This was my truck without them

I wasn't using nails though it looks like it. I was rolling the excess residue up as I was heating it if that makes sense?

Like @dbrandt01 said "pretty much fishing line and a hair dryer is all you need".

I used dental floss(since I had no fishing line) and a hair dryer. I just heated the letters up quickly but not for too long as they get hot pretty quick. I just moved the floss from one side to the other. Once the letter was off I removed the adhesive by rolling it til it was off instead of picking at it. It came off pretty easily and then I used mothers showtime instant detailer to get the small remaining pieces of adhesive residue. Afterward it felt like brand new!
