Just did this today after trying for a few times in the parking lot. Love how we can do cool stuff like this with our cars. Just driving around town didn't notice any difference obviously, but glad that I can do it if I want.

You have to do the pedal dance every time you want it, as soon as you turn on the car. |

Back at the track in a couple weeks so I thought I would actually practice the "pedal dance" in advance and commit the process to memory. Good news is "I got it" and should not have any issues activating before sessions.
Afterwards I was messing around with the buttons and found out that you can activate the VSC mode and the trac off simultaneously. Any idea what this configuration would yield??

the "track off" will disappear once you break 30kph, so it's not a "combination" per se
and in the above picture vsc is not off, i'ts just in sport mode, which is rather poor

Prerequisites: - engine must be warm (coolant temp gauge at middle of "warm" area, actual temp reading IIRC must be above 170F) - idle must be normal at ~650-750. Once the engine is warm, this can be sped up by revving the engine once or twice and the idle will settle after throttle is disengaged. The sequence above is still the same, except I end up only doing following: - Pump the brake pedal 3 times. Hold the brake pedal down on the 3rd press - Pull the hand brake 3 times. Hold/lock the hand brake on the 3rd pull - Pump the brake pedal 2 more times. - On the last pump of the brake pedal, two yellow lights should have come on. Short version would be 3x foot brake, 3x hand brake, ~2x foot brake. I'll see if I have time to make a short video to document the pedal dance. Hope this helps. -alex |

Anyone have any thoughts on using the pedal dance on snow? I've been plowing snow since yesterday since my street doesn't get plowed at all and we have well over a foot. Turning off traction control (hold for 5 seconds method) is 100% mandatory (yes, I have snow tires). Will this dance change the car for the better or worse in snow?

i'd do it in the snow but too cold to activate :/
so i just makde due with the 5-second option although i can feel the VSC kick in when i'm running over surfaces with extreme grip differences left to right.
