You guys will know if you have the chrips. My 2014 didn't have them till about 2k miles and one day while at a stop, I heard them. It's a light and day different noise that you will notice.

If you have the crickets you will know it after driving the car for a little while. I have an hour drive to and from work and they always creep in.

I honestly do not really notice them anymore since I have listened to them for so long. Since there is currently no fix from Subaru/Toyota and ethanol free gas is too expensive in my opinion for just a noise, I just ignore them.

But yeah I have an auto, and I have crickets. Tried Chevron and Shell. Only 91 available here in NorCal with 10% ethanol

Drive- I think I figured it just stop using ethanol gas and it goes away

No lie. Costco here is like high quality gasoline. Not sure if they put in pesticide or something.

I read that, but unfortunately in Northern California there is basically no gas station that does NOT use ethanol.
