@Monogram ...... happy new year to you and your new car ......

If you haven't already done so, stop over to the Northwest sub-forum and say "hi" to the locals.....

Hey guys.

I don't think i need to create a new topic for this

I have asked this before and some members say its normal others say different.

Anyway sometimes in the morning or after a long period of time not starting the frs it would make a weird noise..maybe like a popping sounds knocking click?

Dont know how to really explain it but it mostly happens when its cold out. Didnt really have this issue in the summer.

Anyway here is a vid that might help a bit

Thanks guys

Doubt it. If there is stuff on the bottom of the pan, pulling the plug isn't going to get that out either.

And any contaminants not already caught in the filter would still be suspended in the oil so long as you don't wait too long to drain it after shutting it off.

Also, others have reported pulling the drain plug after evacuating the oil to see if any more would come out and said just a drop or two came out that was probably still on the plug.

When I did mine, a little over five and a half quarts came out. So I'm confident I got it all.
