Hey Jason,

Yes, we are planning to hold several test days after SEMA. Most likely time attack oriented, we have no plans for drag racing. Please subscribe. We have a lot of updates to come including the vehicles entire build process.

Best,

Question does the Varis wide body require cutting like the rocketbunny kit?

Thank you for the question VirUzxZ,
Yes, most widebody kits require serious modification to the rear fenders.

For the Varis Widebody Kit, Varis actually completely replaces the oem fender vs the rocket bunnys rivet/cutting method.

is the inner door panel a carbon fiber replacement piece or is it an overlay?

Nice build but IHMO, race car with full interior seems a bit overkill, Extreme Autofest ish.

Should have gone the Evasive route, full race car.

It's beautiful and all... But would be so out of place UNLESS it was on a racetrack. And if it's going to stick to a racetrack, the interior can just be gutted to save weight.

If you are actually going to drive the car, get rid of all the body kits. Body kits aren't sexy. Lines are what make a car beautiful, and the BRZ/FR-S is already beautiful. The performance is all I really car about in this car. Looks are always subjective.

Thank you for the compliment. We really wanted to go our own route on this one. Being that this is a SEMA build, we felt it necessary to have a full interior . We really tried to not lean more towards one side or the other. This is neither a show car or race car, but rather, both to the highest degree which we consider to be a super car concept. We wanted to build a well rounded car that touched on all points to the best or our abilities. We feel that our FR-S Concept One has achieved that level and reaches far beyond our own expectations.

We agree that if this was strictly a race car, the interior can be gutted and if this was a daily driven street car, the body kit would be a bit overkill, but what people need to keep in mind is that 1. This is a SEMA build to show what we could achieve using a car that costs 5 times less than a factory super car and 2. Not everybody wants to see just a race car or just a show car so we wanted to build something that would cater to both ends. We think we were able to achieve that in this build.

Yeah, I understand, it is a crazy build. SEMA is the benchmark and I wished that some of stuff actually became actual production pieces; instead of one-off.

I like the 49ers theme in the interior but diamond alcantera pattern in the door panels and rear seats gives sort of that Low Rider effect.

The outside is nice. The inside looks like what I'd imagine Don "Magic" Juan casket will look like.
