This is the wing I had on the back of my old MR2 when I lived in Japan. I used this car primarily for running the mountains at high speed with my friends but it occasionally saw track days at Mine's Circuit before Mazda bought it and closed it to the public. (a-holes!)
Between this wing, the Tein Flex Coilovers and the staggered wheel setup I was running (17X7 in front and 17x8 in back), the back end was as planted as it could be on street tires in an otherwise tail-happy car. My FRS reminds me a lot of this car! The wing made a noticeable difference above 40mph with no understeer at all. I sure would like to find out the manufacturer of this wing! I bet it would look very OEM on an 86. I used to see them a lot on S-15 Silivas but the friend that gave it to me took it off of his WRX. Scott

Password JDM Splitter/Canards/Sides/rear diffuser
Buddy Club Evo wing The wing a friend had sitting at his shop....I fabricated some wing mounts and it bolts through the trunk to a mount that ties into chassis. I wanted to be able to remove it for the street and cover holes with a license plate. |

Love the mount. Please let us know how that works for you. That's a lot of downforce for the base so curious if the trunk can handle it.

Saving up for the side skirts and rear bumper. Not a fan of the spoiler or the front bumper (it extends too far out in the front compared to the stock bumper, plus I like the stock front bumper look better).
