First off, I would like to thank Dublin Toyota for hosting our monthly Meet-N-Greet at their spacious dealership. Ian, our friend in the sales department, helped out by isolating a designated area for us to park in a group. We look forward to more exciting collaboration with Dublin Toyota in the near future.

Tonight started out very cold. But, as cars pulled in.. the cold slowly left and the parking lot was getting packed.

This was our largest group to come out on a Friday night and it is because of every's dedication and support that this has grown to over 60+ cars. So, thank you for all making the Dublin Meet-N-Greet what it is today.

Tonight we had cars coming as far as from Stockton, Tracy, San Jose, and San Francisco.

Bruce Nomura from Tracy came back to show support once again with a fleet of cars. Ranging from EVOs, Supra, Genisis, and a very unique car, a twin turbo NSX. One of our BRZ member's was lucky enough to drive the NSX around the block.. the linear power curve was so impressive it felt like a supercharger.

---

As you all know now, Shiv of Vishnu recently bought his own FRS and has been working on offering NA maps for the community. Tonight Shiv was on hand to give a bit of insight into their new tablet device.

The response was very positive. In fact, IAN and a few other members purchased the Vishnu Tablet and Shiv managed to upload the NA tune on the spot.

RehabJeff86 allowed a few members to drive his car with the new Vishnu NA tune. All I saw was members with large grins, ear-to-ear afterward. RehabJeff86 was originally on an Ecutek tune. Here you see him offering his old Ecutek forsale. The highest bid tonight was $5.25. It did not meet his reserve.

This red FRS was tucking on a very low ride height. He also has a nice carbon trunk.. they call it Whale tail..?

--

Our Dublin Meet-N-Greet is open to all cars make and models. One of the nicest Celica's around belongs to our local friend, Chris. His late model Celica still gathers quite a bit of attention with his APR wide body kit.

Dekamori finally got his Rays wheels after waiting half a year. At the end, with all the drama.. he ended up with 2 extra wheels. Clever guy!

Ed was rocking a new emblem.. it literally means "middle" in Chinese.

A Series 10 FRS was showing people the glowing Scion emblems.

Five Axis AD lip kit looks good in almost any color. The gold Enkei RPF1's are a great contrast with the white.

Was nice to finally see derekchu88 cars in person. Good luck with the sale.

JohnAyySays got his TOMS taillights. It was indeed very nice and got me thinking..

Custom turbo kit designed by WORK in JR's car.

FRS Chick's car sure sounded great with that muffler deleted rear section. Good to see you again.

Someone has been busy buying up parts left and right..

PMOK got his set of new shoes and also sold his old shoes tonight. So PMOK is paying for our lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings end of the month. Thanks bro

Ed rocking the tofu delivery strip.. but in red.

This 1986 Corolla belongs to our friend that works for Dublin Toyota. Fully rebuilt with a ITB 4AG motor.

--

So to sum-up-the-night.. thanks to everyone for coming out tonight and making the Dublin Meet-N-Greet such a fun, laid back experience for our community.

Until next time.. :happy0180:

PS, for those that are interested in the tune from Vishnu, I highly recommend it. 15-20 whp instant gain. I can give more details later, but well worth it in the short run and the long run

wow, awesome pics @phatpanda
Wish I had brought my camera but the car was already loaded down with cargo haha.

btw I took your advice and started trying Lightroom5, starting to get the hang of it now. Very cool stuff.

What a great turnout last night! Thanks phatpanda for organizing this and coordinating with Dublin Toyota, and to everyone who came out it was great seeing everyone.

I got the Enkei Raijins in black.

If anyone is interested in getting some (or any Enkei/Work wheels), Rishie at AutoRnD in Fremont is offering some great clearance deals right now... hit them up.

Great turnout! NO thanks to @phatpanda and the growing success of these meets, I missed out watching Breaking Bad on Netflix haha. But thanks to those who made the trek.

Big thanks to Shiv and @RehabJeff86 for convincing me where I can buy some 'hope' for my car. That performance upgrade exceeded my expectations and wished I had it for the Redwood drive 3 of us did after Quickly. Thanks again Jeff for the wheel time and advise. Not to insinuate anything, but wheel time is a damn good way to sell a perf mod.

I'll run out of ice cream sandwiches again on Sunday <5pm lol

Yeah, teach me how to shot better pictures at night

Lightroom is pure awesome, glad you are getting acquainted.

Wheels look great and it's always good to chop-it-up!

How was Redwood afterwards?

Whatthedunk and I took Batmobile on a spirited drive on Crow Canyon into Blackhawk. I'll let him give you his impression and feedback on the Vishnu tune.

Cheers!

For photos at night, your best friend is either a tripod and delayed shutter release, or a very wide aperture prime lens.

Redwood was fun. Really like the additional grip that the sticky tires gave me. My eyes have been opened LOL.

Another successful meet last night, crazy that this monthly meet only started out with about 10 cars, good to see what its become now. Hopefully you guys didn't run into too much fog last night at redwood. But yeah we ended up just taking the backroads to Blackhawk, got a chance to test Shiv's tune and the difference is night and day.

I've driven the Batmobile a few times prior to his tune and as much fun as the car was to drive with it's outrageous amount of grip, the power band of the stock tune was limiting the car's potential. The car feels completely different now compared to the stock ecu tune. Yeah the car may not have forced induction but I think it will hold it's own and be tons of the fun on the track. Impressions on the tune, throttle response has improved, and mid range power delivery is definitely more apparent. I was most impressed with what Shiv was able to do with the torque dip, running through the gears my favorite place to be was from 4k-5k rpm as the motor really wakes up and comes to life. I personally never cared for drive by wire on cars these days and always preferred the mechanical gas pedal but it seems the tune has improved the overall feel making rev matching and throttling out of turns even better. I honestly was not expecting to feel much of a difference after the tune but I stand corrected haha. Although the tune would benefit track day/autox guys largely who are always up there on the power band, even daily driving would be more fun. Last thought is that this is how the car should have came tuned from the factory. Kudos to Shiv for working out a tune so fast and Panda for letting me take the car out for a bit last night

My pleasure! You and the local community makes the Dublin Meet what it is today. It's always good to hear news from Stockton.
