I could use some comments to break up all my post whoring guys!

Anyways for now I will keep the spamming going.

More deliveries! A huge thank you to AVO. Lee has really bent over backwards to take care of me as a customer. Brand new factory coated header and steel STI gaskets going on tomorrow.

Aaaand one more.

It's been a long shitty winter but today it's blue skies and warm weather for the first time in months so I revisited a previous location 'down the bay' for some quick snaps.

I've been eyeing off the TRD Door Stabilizers too.

Notice any difference?

The new header looks amazing!

Lovin the Toms tails. The STI lip kit would look great on your car too, mate.

What is the rod and the bung used for? Does the AVO kit run the first O2 sensor prior to the turbo?

The rod is for mounting support for turbo and manifold and Yes, AVO has the first O2 before the turbo.

Interesting you say that... had this sitting in my hallway while I decide if I want to try it or not! Bayson R lip.

Found this shot from another Suby owner posted to FB!

Thanks. I had an exhaust leak pre-turbo in that video so it wasn't spooling well. I'll do another one soon with rpm & boost graph so you can see the responsiveness/drivability of the AVO kit.

Got the exhaust straight but not sold on the diffuser. I may drop it until I get a new system or better tips. You can see where I mount the external mic in this picture too.

I was surprised how well these bulbs turned out. You can get them here from streetfx.

NVH update! Currently running:

Warranty replaced shifter assembly
STI engine mount
STI trans mount
ACS/xtreme lightweight chromoly flywheel
ACS single heavy duty pressure plate
ACS new version sprung ceramic button disc
Whiteline rear subframe inserts
Whiteline diff inserts
Perrin hard muffler hangers

With the same list as above, but the stock trans mount, there is zero driveline noise with this new clutch disc! And I really mean nothing. After putting the STI trans mount in there is a new nvh mostly heard under heavy acceleration, and gets louder the higher gear, more load you put on it.

So overall very happy with this clutch disc but I think it's just not realistic to run the STI trans mount with any clutch combination. I guess it's time to drop the gearbox for the nth time and go to stock + whiteline again. Or maybe just the stock one and call it a day.

Overall the car is so much better now with zero exhaust leak and the rear sub frame infill bushes from whiteline being back in the car.

The first mod any owner should do to their ft86 is a clutch pedal adjustment, and the second should be the whiteline KDT922 insert kit. Even on a bone stock car these make a huge difference compared to any other mod!

Well thats good news.

I'm about to install most of your list (- the clutch stuff) to see if i can get mine quieter.

Do you know if there is a warranty claim thing for the shifter rattle at all? I had it looked at last service and claimed "thats normal its a sports car" ... like fuck it is... Im sitting on a 100 down the highway and its louder than my music!!! Thats not normal fora new car!

I'm still not sold on the OEM diffuser - but other than that, it's looking killer! I love that video too. Your breeze is easily one of the the best sounding <3

Yes the shifter was replaced under warranty via Subaru due to the lockout rattle, pretty happy with that outcome!

So the STI trans mount is a no go if you changing the clutch/flywheel out?

Did you ever have the STI trans mount in with other part combinations without any driveline noise?

I don't want to categorically rule it out, but for my car and the combinations I've tried, it's too noisy compared to the whiteline / cusco inserts.
