Not sure if it was mentioned, but if you are sitting at a stop light with the clutch being held in, you're affecting how it may idle and you're destroying you're throw out bearing. So don't hold the clutch in. That may solve any idle issue.

Mine does same thing. either AC on or off
And when it does that, I also saw my DRL kind of goes off and on. Saw it through reflection from tailgate of truck in front of me.

I never realized until today that there are tons of issues with our cars. hmm..

Sorry I've taken so long to get back. I have a great video showing the dip when you hear me press the brake pedal.

Give it a shot. Sit in your driveway and hit the brakes hard once or even 3 times. The car will dip and shoot back up.

I kinda agree with you about the idea that when you push brake pedal, but maybe 1 out of 5 times for me it happens even without the brake pushed in.
However, based on my experience, I think there are more chanes when I tried to decrease speed or stop by hard braking.

And also, have you resolve the problem or find out anymore info regarding this?

from what i understand, it seems to happen most often when slowing down to a stop. i'll be slowing down, clutch, shift to neutral, release the clutch and either be rolling to a stop or stopped and it'll stutter, as if to stall, then pick back up.

definitely not everyday, but enough that i notice.

I took video of it today at lunch time.
I was lucky enough to take it in my video while I'm stopping. As the speed reaches 23mph, you can hear sound like something rattles which I suspect engine being stalling.
Usually it does it rpm around 500 but for some reason, it does that around 700. I will try another video so I can capture the moment when it does it around 500.

Also, can anyone confirm that the rattle sound familiar to you?

I hope that your dealers saying true but when my car does that, DRL also turns off for about 1 sec. which means it is loosing power. That's why I suspect it as abnormal with idle dip.

Have an auto and do not get that rattle when coming to a stop.

But if I break harder than usual to stop quickly I do get the idle dip to 400-500 for a few seconds and then it goes right back up to 600-700 rpm

Most people on the forum have low or fluctuating idling problems. Today whenever I start up the car when the engine is warmed up, the idle sits at 1.5K even and doesn't even go back down.

When I put the car in 1st gear and drive it, the high idle goes away. My car is only 1mth old with 600-ish miles.
