My dealer did it without asking, they must have found their mitt, though, no damage to the paint, at least that I spotted.

Nice write up and pics! I will admit my heart hurt seeing those first few photos, glad they took care of it!

Those wouldn't create the little swirl marks shown in the pictures - those would be done by a hand wash / dry. That ,machine, if it scratches, would create straight-ish marks along the length of the vehicle.

A clean one won't. My wife uses one at a local gas station of all places, and they do a remarkable job maintaining it- 97k worth of car washes and it has minimal scratches, on a black car.

The same thing happened to me, but the dealer offered to remove the scratches as well as 2 large ones. In process of doing so they put 3 more in and never addressed the swirling. To top it off they forgot the body plugs during the pdi and I drove all winter on corrosive roads and now have rust in my frame.

Looks amazing now! Swirls really show with that color too damn. I'm sure mine is close to being as bad but whiteout only reveals its scars in the right light hahaha

I'd be more concerned about the right rear wheel than the cleanliness of my vehicle if I was that guy. :P
