Eh. I've always been wary of something like meth injection...it's just another point of failure. Catastrophic if something happens and you/your tune doesn't compensate/have a fail-safe feature of some kind.

ok today at the track (WSIR big track) 100 degree ambiant temps
I ran a 1:34.7xx CSG Mike hopped into Dlckers car and poped off a 1:38.5
Yo from 86factory landed a 1:39.5
Everyone else in the 1:40's
Who CARES WHAT THE DYNO SAYS!
LAP TIMES SAY IT WORKS FANTASTIC!
(DELTA for this kit to NA was minimum FOUR SECONDS Even CSG Mike liked it! lol)

Radiator/oil cooler combo work just as expected
Both boosted Innovate cars ran sub 200 H20 and sub 230 oil temps!
(I ran mine with the AC on to simulate what a Front mount inter cooler would add to the system ) and because it was HOT out there ;-).

Tires, suspension, setup, and driver can and did play a part in those numbers. And I care about dyno plots, the area under the curve can tell me a lot more then comparing two different cars with different drivers. Peak numbers don't say much, but looking at the whole curve certainly does.

Congrats on the great lap times.

Scooby South is coming down to visit the shop today. I'll let him give his reviews after driving the car to lunch.

I CARE WHAT THE DYNO SAYS.
I can only judge what the car will feel like by looking at the graph.
telling me a car ran a track fast means nothing as I don't know anything about the track, weight reduction, suspension set up, tires good driver/bad driver etc.

Dyno will be awesome!

Robi is like 2.5k and some change lbs, full out suspension, and an experienced driver. Although the other group of characters are well experienced too and have equal mods (minus FI). I'm feeling pretty good about some dyno's showing up here in the next week or two.

People need to remember that he is running a 4.7 final drive as well...

Eventually yes, but I am loving this power output right now and plan on thoroughly track testing it to make sure the w/m is working flawlessly.

Big Willow yesterday was a good track to test the extra power. I got one session that was clean of w/m failsafe bugs and was happy to see coolant and oil temps stayed cool for the 20 min session. Oil never went above 230 deg. Outside temps were reading 101 on the course. I have a feeling my cooling is over kill right now. Robispec thick radiator + w/m injection cooling down the combustion chamber, heads, egts and twin screw.

Failsafe bugs were annoying and I will continue to tune the flow alarm limits. It was working perfectly on street testing it, but for some reason once I got on the track it would register more and more flow and trigger the bypass to open. It is either heat or G-forces that is causing moments of extra w/m flow. The only time I get this condition on the street is when I shift very quickly from 2-3. What I did is I kept slightly increasing the upper limit of the flow failsafe alarm, so I got 1 session where it was clean of alarms. The next session however saw a slight bump in flow again so I had to end it early to play around again with the failsafe software.

In the end my impression of the innovate kit itself is that it is fantastic all in all. It has terrific throttle response and gives a nice bump in power to the point where it feel seamless as if the motor is bigger but not heavier. Powering out of corners is.... FUN rather than lethargic.

While I didn't get many laps to try and achieve a fast lap time (my first time on Big Willow + failsafe bugs), Robi set some incredible lap times in his twin screw monster.

Will post video later today.

Here is a part throttle 3rd to 4th I think to show the water meth flow gauge and the supercharger whine =)

Ok, I was tossing some numbers around and shoving them through my calculator and it seems to me that a base kit with maybe a little fiddling (headers?) should make this car accelerate at least as well as a stock STI (not counting AWD launch, so say, straightaway acceleration).

Would those that have driven a mostly stock car with an Innovate SC agree with that?

Because if so, that will be perfect, IMO.
