Hope those hydraulics don't fail while someone's under it...

Cool setup though!

A BendPak or MaxJax is definitely something I have plans for in the future. Not anytime soon though.

Even if they did, the lift locks in place and for most lifts, need an air compressor to release the brakes. I'd love to get an in-floor lift, but just don't want to cut up my garage floor. Been eyeing the Atlas Kwicklift which is a mid-rise lift. Only issue is that all lifts are only shipped by truck to your driveway and it's your problem to get it off the truck and into your garage. Considering how much these things weigh, it's not easy if you don't have a fork lift.

Just went through the GJ thread... This is the answer to my prayers & I will do this when I move (hopefully by winter/spring) to Austin. For some reason, I thought the in-ground lifts were in the $10k range....

When I bought my lift for my last house it was surprisingly easy to move, I moved it with 2 friends off the truck into the garage and so easy to setup!

as long as you have 220 power in your garage installation is like 10 minutes :-)

I had the older Rotory mid-rise, was awesome for doing almost everything!

looked similar to this http://www.rotarylift.com/templateProduct.aspx?id=720

but had lift arms that came out from center and a full base instead of that. Fit great in my double long garage, I harder to fit in smaller garages though, gotta be careful about length!

Got it used for under 1000$ from a shop that was closing

I'd love to join in on a group buy, but unfortunately I already have one :P

Bendpak HD-9XW 9,000lb capacity with RJ-45 4500lb Cap. Bridge Jack.

The XW stands for Extra Long and Extra Tall, the normal sized lift wouldn't fit my Tacoma, on it or under it.
