test drove both 86 and brz same day!

hi i test drove a 86 and the brz amazed how different they feel. brz sounf very mean wen starting up and driving although no extra power apparently, suspension very stiff and babit bumpy for me for normal everyday driving but feels alot sportier. Does the brz come standard with a short shifter? also keen to know if the ride hide the same as stock 86 looked lower, so prob lowering springs standard?

From what I've read it's much of a muchness with the 86 being more tail happy and the BRZ more prone to under steer. One review said it comes down to colour - if you want WRC blue get the BRZ, if you want orange, get the 86.

BTW.
have you driven the BRZ on the highway? Is the exhaust annoying or is it quiet at cruising speeds?

Ride height should be the same, I suspect the 86's front bumper is making it look lower than it actually is.

The BRZ does have a stiffer suspension than the 86 but the ride height should be the same.
What area are you in leoz1412?
I know that the BRZ test car in Cape Town has a different exhaust on which is from Subaru.

did you get a price on the BRZ, I asked subaru back in october and then they said it would come in at around 370K, which is quite a bit more than the 86 (although includes service/maintenance plan)

R380k is also what I've heard. At that price they can keep it - a boot spoiler, maintenance plan and exhaust is not worth that much.

It'll fit. They're around $700 so not sure what it would cost here.
