Why govt ruin everything
It is scary, the govt is left of center and even the centrist are leaning left. universal health care will cost a $1.5 trillion on top of all the other spending.

I honestly could care less about right left or center, my thing is, Dammit I don't have healthcare, and I DO NOT WANT IT, from my understanding, they should not be able to fine me for not having healthcare as it should be an option, either that or they should provide it for free, either way it seems like they're aiming to dig into pockets, you do or you don't but you will still pay for it, and thats utter bs in my book.
It's like owning a car and having it in your garage unregistered and still having to pay insurance. |

i DO want healthcare. i need it. i also don't want to be turned down access to it because of a "pre-existing condition." there's no perfect solution, one that will make everyone happy. this one seems to me to be a better solution than the one we're currently operating with. that's all i really have to say about it.

Thank everyone who voted for the piece of shit in the office now. It's hilarious people thought G.W. was such a bad president that they elected an even worse president. Change is good but this change is a nightmare. Good call.

What could be a better investment of taxpayer money than committing international war crimes? We're not socialists -- we're imperialists!

Sooo...by your linking that article to that quote...we're going to be doing a witchhunt for.....bankrupters?
In any case.... I'd rather be an imperialist who retains his personal soverignty and freedoms than a socialist who forfeits said rights to the government to become a "worker drone". Because the government knows whats best for us all and will not abuse any increase in power it gets now will it? Well, ignorance is bliss they say...for the ignorant that is. The last thing Americans need to do is give the federal government more power and influence in their daily lives. There's nothing wrong with minor government oversight in certain markets that greatly effect the everyday well-being of Americans (think the meat packing industry in the early 20th century....yeah...) , but that does not mean we have to let the government completely control every aspect of that single market. By control I mean they literally own/operate/regulate every tidbit down to the wire. I'll put it this way: I wasn't much of a fan of GM before Obama bailed them out, but now, I won't even touch one of their cars until every last spec of federal government stake in that company is gone. My point was that unrestricted capitalism creates vast inequality in the distribution of wealth.
Because that has been the trend in US policy making for the past 30 years, the middle class has joined the unicorn and griffin as another mythical beast. The imperialsm comment was a joke (sort of...). |

I'd link a shrinking middle-class to the fact that small businesses are suffering now more than ever, above any other reason. The fat-cat imperialists aren't exactly making their hundreds of millions running a mom and pop restaurant, now are they? Well, I mean you can if you know what you're doing. Hmmm, one of the great things about a free-market society. |
