Borla UEL Header - CEL FIX

I got a question how does this header work and do I lose power with this one?
I just was about to buy the Regular Borla UEL Header, but I just seen the CEL Fix one and right now I don't have money for a tune to get my CEL off. I don't mind if the light is on or is that bad to leave it on? Sorry if this is confusing.

With CEL on the car will run richer (Waste more gas) Shouldn't affect the power though.

You should run a tune with any catless header. Running one without a tune will certainly cause a CEL, not to mention that the car may actually end up running worse. Personally (disclaimer, I'm biased), I'd avoid the borla and get Vishnu's OFH. The OFH is cheaper when purchased with the OFT (which, fills the need for a tune) and arguably better made. You can get a tune and header from vishnu for $1015 and have most of the potential power available in NA form.

I ran a borla UEL on my car for several months and fought exhaust leak issues the whole time. Just put the OFH on my car and the borla is going back for warranty replacement.

As for not having the money for a tune and a header. Just save your money up until you can afford both or just get a tune instead of the header.
