Is this the first car to refer to a rear suspension that has an upper wishbone and three lower links as 'double wishbone'? I'm pretty sure it isn't but writer seemed to make a huge deal about it.

The two lower control arms and the knuckle create a second wishbone. It may not be a literal wishbone but functionally it seems like it would be exactly the same. It is common in Japanese cars to refer to this as double wishbone.
