Well I took the time to go see about some options I got on my ecutek rom (launch control and how to set it but still not clear on the autoblip feature). I will have to look at this last one more as I have it on both my maps (93 and 91 octane maps as I do not intend to run e85).

I think the launch control I will have to play with since my carbon fiber drive shaft has really made the shift timing a little different.

However I do love the kit.

Bad news: I have a lead foot.

Good news: I have a lead foot that works.

I have a few simple and to the point questions that could be answered with a yes or a no. this is for anyone that has the kit.

1. are you happy with the kit?
2. was it worth it?
3. have you had any issues with the kit?
4. have you had any issues with your car (since kit was installed)?
5. are you satisfied with the performance gains?

thats it. real simple. if anyone feels like answering then i thank you in advance.]

EDIT: if you wouldnt mind, please list the Vendor you got it from

1. YES
2. YES - bought on groupbuy
3. None - will test it more when I get a chance to take to HPDE in September at TWS.
4. None - no leaks aside from dealing with learning how to use the Ecutek features and launch control
5. Absolultely - I was not aiming for a drag monster but more usable power to track with on a balanced platform. If I want more I would go buy a C7 Z06 instead.

+++++ @FTeigthysix was the vendor

3) Charge pipe doesn't fit properly (C38). KW knows about it. Boost wise it doesn't really make a difference, but because the pipe is sandwiched between the headlight and frame I have rattling which I think is setting off the knock sensor in some areas.

you shouldn't have a problem with it, the rear housing of the Spec D is a direct copy of the BRZ housing, down to the mount underneath for the oem ballast.. only thing we had to do for our BRZ install was leave the headlight wire harness connector unclipped from the housing..

That said, who knows lol..

Make sure its rotated properly, it took a bit to make sure it was seated right but I didn't have any complaints besides the 2.5" middle section on a 3"coupler. Makes me wonder what a straight 3"would make in gains.

Has KW done any actual testing with the big blower?
