Fortune Auto 500/510 & Feal 441 Thread: Please post pics, specs, reviews, etc.

Let's make this specifically a Fortune Auto and Feal coilover thread.

(since they seem to be very similar regarding good knowledge, custom built to order, QC, parts, goals and vision(a real (but affordable) coilover/damper that actually works and is focused on real damping performance (ie: not just for "slamming" the car only for appearance nor aesthetics)).

(please stick to the topic and try not to mention nor discuss other coilovers).

I have already searched the history database; and have read all the past reviews and threads on them. But, if there is any additional info you would like to add, then please post.

This can include more in-depth reviews (HPDE, daily and long-term/revisited durability/reliability reviews), links, please state specs/rates, pictures, videos, etc., etc.

Thanks.

If you're looking for info about those and read the reviews, you probably read all that's out there on this forum. I'm not sure if you're looking for pics of the parts or pics of the cars post install...I always laugh when people want to see a pic of someone's car lowered on coilovers, as if that makes some strange difference.... LOL

Anyway, I take it you found my thread? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23038

I wrote this in a more simplistic manner so anyone can understand. First and second to last post is really all that's important

We've been huge advocates of Fortune Auto for a few simple reasons. Personally speaking, I'm not into the whole stance thing to be honest or being slammed. I also prefer performance (function) first, but they've really nailed the capability to do both. We've become a master dealer of there's and have a MASSIVE amount of happy customers that are Fortune Auto lifers now.

-Each set is hand-built but a team of engineers

-The ideology behind each set is that you can send them in to be rebuilt or modified (you can add Swift Springs or turn them into 2-way Dreadnought's after you've purchased them)

-Everyone has different driving styles/goals, Fortune Auto can be fully customized to the customer spec (spring rate, many options can be added like radial bearing mounts)

-On that note, Radial Bearing Mounts make a HUGE difference for a daily drive. We have them on our shop cars here (DSG edition FA500's and standard 500's) fully done up. They make no sounds that you typically associate with coilovers (clunks and vibrations), extremely smooth (my gf doesn't complain, first sign these are awesome). But when you hammer it in a turn you know you have some serious performance under you, it's actually pretty mind blowing

-My biggest point price versus quality. They're extremely reasonably priced and easily comparable to coilovers that are 2x the price. There aren't any other fully customizable coilovers that are built nearly as good as Fortune Auto, especially at this price point.

Look at a cutaway of the Gen5, they're built like a tank:

-Multiple options available to suit whatever application, 500 series (daily + occasional track), 510 pure track, 2-way (serious track), 3-way (professional series)

Also, I forgot to mention something that is a testament to how much they trust/believe in their own product...

Fortune Auto comes with an industry leading 5-year warranty (2 year on the piston) on their coilovers. Considering coilovers take the brunt of bad roads, "spirited" driving, and they still guarantee them, you know they're good. They aren't made in China knock-offs/cookie cutter colivers that are just branded differently.

To each their own, but FA are beasts
