Dealership has me driving a 2014 Corolla S

I have to say at first glance I'm very impressed with it. Electronic everything, leather (probably synthetic), and surprisingly very roomy. I just picked it up while my car is getting a big service (see my build thread for details). I will do a review once I driven it for a few days. But my first impression is that Toyota was very smart with this car. The wheels are pretty aggressive for a Corolla and it's the "sportiest" model they offer.

Really digging this car. If I needed a daily, this would definitely be at the top of my options list. The interior is so comfy. It has a Lexus feel to it (I've had 2 and my family has had tons). I can't believe how nice this car is for the money. It's very slow, but the transmission is a lot of fun. If anyone needs a smaller sedan, I would definitely recommend this. It's super roomy for how small it looks and it's a very nice car. Good work Toyota!

You know what's weird though? It's actually a little fun to drive, and I've never been able to say that about a stock Corolla.

I read a magazine review on it when it was first released. It might have been in MT or C&D. I cannot remember for sure. They said the "S" stood for slow. The car does look nice though.

I get jelly of the stock xenons every time I see 1 on the road...such royal garbage. But yes, they have become quite a nice car for what like $17k?

I saw one on my commute to work this morning. My wife said "ooh it's so cute!" Uh oh...

Rental/loaner cars are always more fun to drive!
